There are a wide variety of Vocations for both you and your pawn inDragon’s Dogma 2, but a handful of them are only usable by the Arisen. These exclusive Vocations offer unique skills and powers, but in return for this, you’ll have to discover how to learn them.
Some you’ll learn by finding someone trained in the art of said Vocation, but others you’ll need to find through exploration. For those wanting to use the art of beguilement and illusion, and learn how to be a Trickster, you’ll have to explore far into the region of Battahl to do so.

How To Unlock The Trickster Vocation
If you want to be a Trickster, you’ll first need to havegained access to the region of Battahl, which you can do by going through thegate at Checkpoint Rest Town.
This town lies far in the west and is reachable by Ox Cart from theCheckpoint Rest Town in the west of Vermund.
You can get past the gate and its guard by progressing through the main story quests; enough tocomplete Feast of Deceptionand obtaining aBorder Entry Permit.
It’s also possible to use theBeastren Maskpurchasable from theScrap Shop in Checkpoint Rest Town, and go through without the permit.
From the gate there,head south into Battahland follow the path until youreach the Enoa’Battahl Forest, then continue heading south.
Past the river, you’ll be able tofind the Riftstone of the Fanged on a ridge– use this as a marker, andhead eastuntil you reach theForgotten Ruins and its campsite. The nearbybridge will lead you directly to the Reverent Shrine, where an Oracle is.
Speak to Luz the Oracle andpay them 50 Gold for a divination, and they’llunlock the Trickster Vocationfor you at the same time.
