Dragon’s Dogma 2has a grand total of ten different vocations to play with, all offering radically different playstyles with different strengths and weaknesses to keep in mind. One of the more complex examples is the Mystic Spearhand, a vocation new in this game.
Mystic Spearhand offers a versatile blend of offence and defence, melee and ranged, and even lets you perform diving and thrusting aerial attacks. In short, it’s a very powerful vocation that, in the right hands, can dominate most fights in the game with very little aid. If you want to unlock it, you’ll need to speak to a very special person.
How To Unlock Mystic Spearhand
As with all advanced vocations in the game, unlocking Mystic Spearhand requires that you speak with a specific person. In this case, it’s Sigurd, a human man who typically resides in Harve Village - but not always. Unfortunately, Sigurd moves around a lot, so it’s not always easy to find him.
If you still can’t find Sigurd,check themorgue in Vernworth- he may have died at some point and will need reviving with a Wakestone.
No matter where you find Sigurd,speaking to him specifically about his fighting style will unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation. Once unlocked, you will simply need to purchase the vocation on the Change Vocation menu.
Only the Arisen can become a Mystic Spearhand- pawns cannot undertake any advanced vocations.
