Maybe one of the first things you’ll notice while playingPacific Drive, once you reach Oppy’s Auto Shop, is the locked door. It’s locked with a keypad that you seemingly have no way of opening. Which is true, but not forever. The door can be opened, and the keypad can be beaten. However, no matter how hard you try, there’s no way in until a certain point in the story.
If you’re uber-curious about how to open the door, then this is the right place. Once it’s opened, you can walk around the Auto Shop proudly knowing that every door is now open to you.
How To Unlock The Door
Across from the main entrance of the Auto Shop, just behind the counter, there’s a locked door with a keypad next to it. In Pacific Drive,you’re able to’t interact with the keypad by trying different number combinations. You’re locked out of the room until you know the code.
You’ll have to progress through the story to unlock the door. After completing the mission,Mid-Zone Crossing, the code will be given to you. Once back at the Auto Shop, head to the keypad and interact with it. Your character will automatically enter the code, and, voilà, open sesame.
Tobias will tell you the code, but you don’t need to remember it.
What’s Behind The Door?
Behind the door, you’ll find a bathroom—just an ordinary bathroom… Or not? If you’ve unlocked the door, you’ll know that it’s locked for a good reason.
Spoilers ahead!
To progress through the story, you’ll have to investigate the bathroom behind the locked door. Thebathroom will have a few interactable objects, such as the sink, toilet, and hand dryer. Interact with the hand dryer, and a hidden door will open next to the sink.
Head through the door, and you’ll find a secret room. Within the room, you’ll find two important things. One of them is ahard drive. This is a story item, and once you pick it up, Tobias will tell you what to do with it. The other one is aschematic for an Arc Doc. You can install it in the front passenger seat of your car.
