Benefits of Storage
When you first begin the game, you won’t have any additional storage available to you. You’ll start with yoursmall store, two shelves,andyour cash register.If you step outside, you’ll notice that beside your supermarket is another building labeled “storage”. At this point in the game, if you attempt to interact with the door to the storage building, it will be locked.
However, this isn’t a problem, not at first, at least.During your first few days of opening shop, you’ll find that it is relatively easy to keep items stocked and maintain your customer’s satisfaction. As time progresses, though, you may find that you have to complete multiple delivery orders throughout the day. Or, you’re continuing to bulk order but having to leave half-empty boxes littered around your store.
How to Unlock Storage
By the time boxes piling up becomes a problem for you, you will likely be interested in finding new storage solutions.to unlock storage in Supermarket Simulator,you’ll need to purchase it.you’re able to do this byinteracting with your computerandchoosing the “Management” tab. Within this tab, you’ll find several important settings. At the top taskbar,click on the tab that says “Storage”. Here, you’ll see the option to purchase different storage options depending on your level. However, at first, only one option will be available to you.Your first storage upgrade will cost $800.
If you are struggling to secure the funds for storage, but it is becoming a necessity in your supermarket, you may wish to look into loan options.
How to Use Storage
At first, you can use your storage haphazardly by dropping your boxes onto the floor. Because purchasing the storage room can be a big investment, this may be the best option for you during the first days of having storage. However,it won’t be the best option forever.
Instead, to use your new storage unit properly,you’ll want to invest in racks for this new room. Once you have racks installed the way you like, you can carefully organize your boxes on the shelves.
Racks are different than shelves. ensure to purchase the right options when looking for storage versus display options.
Unfortunately, it can take some time to travel from your supermarket to the storage unit. As a result, since you’ll likely be running over in the middle of rush hour for a quick restock, you’ll want to easily be able to navigate your storage unit.This means having your products organized in alogical, easy-to-access manner.
Storage and Restockers
As your supermarket continues to grow, you’ll find that running back and forth from storage to restocking your shelves can consume a large portion of your day. As a result, you may wish to look into an auto-restocking option.
Thankfully, after you grow your store and reach different levels, you’ll be able to hire different staff members.This includes a restocker, who will be able to handle almost all of your stocking needs. You can hire a restocker and other employees throughthe “Management” tab on your computer. You will need to achieve different milestones before unlocking each employee, however, such ascompleting a certain amount of transactionsorreaching a specific store level.
In order for the restocker to provide the best job possible, you’ll need to continue ensuring that you have a clean, easy-to-navigate storage room.
