WhileStellar Bladedoesn’t offer full RPG-style character customization, it does provide a few options for altering Eve’s appearance to suit your taste. The main feature is Nano Suits, which are essentially different outfits for Eve. These suits are purely cosmetic and don’t affect your stats, but the game offers a wide variety of them as you explore.
In addition to Nano Suits, you can also equip earrings and glasses that you find or purchase from merchants. However, there’s another customization option for Eve that you might overlook if you don’t explore Xion thoroughly: hairstyles. Yes, you can change Eve’s haircut, but first, you’ll need to find Gwen Hair Salon and speak to Kasim to get his quest and help him complete it.
How To Start First Customer Quest
Once youreach the Wastelandin the game, simplyhead back to Xionandmake your way to the town center, just west of the Bulletin Board. There,you’ll find a hair salon shop with a character you may interact with.
Kasim, the salon owner, will humorously comment on Eve’s hair andask for your help in recovering his materials to reopen his salon. After accepting the quest, you’ll seethree markers appear on the Wastelandregion map, indicating the locations of the three materials Kasim needs:scissors, a hairdryer,anda straightener.
How To Complete First Customer Quest
From Xion, head towards the Wasteland andmake your way east to reach the Scrap Plains. Here, Eve and Adam will briefly discuss that this is the area where Kasim lost his materials, signaling it’s time to start the hunt.
The first marker, justeast of the Supply Camp, leads toan underground level accessible by a ladder. Descend and locate the item marked with a green dotto obtain the scissors.
Movingsoutheast from there, you’ll encounter a bunch of crates in a corner.Approach the one on the far right side, attack it, thenquickly back away as it contains an explosive barrel.
Once it explodes,retrieve the straightener from there.
For the final item,head westto the marker where you’ll finda cluster of junk surrounded by a barrier.
Enter through the hole in the barrier, butbe cautious as two enemies await.Defeat them and thensearch behind the junk to find the hairdryer.
How To Unlock Hairstyles
With all three items collected,return to Xion and speak to Kasim. Hand over the materials tocomplete the questandunlock the ability to choose from a variety of new hairstyles for Eve, along withdye options for each haircut.
Now if you find a hairstyle you like and want to unlock,you’ll need to collect various variations of the Polymer material. Once you unlock a new haircut, you alsogain access to all its available colors.
Additionally, you may switch between unlocked hairstyles and colors anytime you visit Kasim at Xion.
