Dragon’s Dogma 2is a vast game that will have you traversing its lands on foot most of the time. While this might not seem very convenient, the developers have made sure that traveling in the game feels rewarding, encouraging exploration and enjoying every path you take, whether it’s for a quest or personal exploration driven by curiosity.
Although there are ways to fast travel, such as using ox carts or ferrystones, riding a harpy sounds just as exhilarating, doesn’t it? Well, if you didn’t know this before, now you do. There’s even a trophy related to it called the Harpy Joyride, and this guide will show you how to unlock it.
How To Unlock The Harpy Joyride Achievement/Trophy
The first thing you’ll need is an item called theHarpysnare Smoke Beacon. While you can find this item in various places, we’ll guide you to the earliest location.
Head northwest of Vernworthand look for a smallside path leading to a cave by the river. Ontop of one of the nearby hills, there’sa chestwhere you’ll find theHarpysnare Smoke Beacon.
Once you have the item, there are a few steps to follow before you use it. Firstly,clear out any nearby enemies, andcommand your pawns to Waitso they won’t interfere with your trophy or attack the harpy by mistake.
Make sureyou’re in an open area, not in a cave or anything similar.
Once you’ve taken care of these steps,open your menuand navigate to your items.Use the Harpysnare Smoke Beacon.
This will generate smoke,attracting a harpy. Now, all you need to do isjump and press the grab button to take flight.
The trophy should appear right after you’ve successfully grabbed the harpy and she begins to fly.
