As you explore the Fae Realms inNightingale, you’ll start collecting resources and items that will need to be stored to free up inventory space. However, you need to be carrying resources to use them, whether you’re crafting or cooking.
The mechanic to sort items is helpful, but it’s not inherently clear how to split stacks of items so that only a few get stored while the rest remain in your inventory. Here’s what you can do to better organize your inventory and your storage containers so that they are easy to sort through as you collect more resources and items.
How To Separate Stacks
When you go totransfer items in your storage, you’ll need tomanually separate the items. Since the game is still in early access, thereisn’t an option to split theminto specific numbers yet.
On PC, you can shift click and drag items to cut them in half.
Open your storage andselect the option to “move to container.” You’ll be able toselect the amount you want to transferinto the storage container. The same goes for moving items into your inventory.
Sinceyou’ll need materials in your inventory to craftand build, it’s a good idea toput the excess in storageso that it’s not lost in the event of your Realmwalker’s demise.
If you want totransfer all items in your inventorythat are already in your chest, you can do so in stacks of 100.
Organizing your items can help youkeep materials near the worktablesyou’ll use them on. This willmake your estate more efficientand will give you more inventory space for thenext time you go Realmdiving.
