Last Epochis an ARPG all about customizability. Each class has dozens of skills to use, and each skill can be developed in a number of different ways through Specialization. This level of depth means you can make almost every skill in the game viable in some way or another.

As you progress through the game and build your character, you may want to try out different skills and passives. Luckily, respeccing your build is fairly easy in Last Epoch. Below, we’ll take a look at how to respec both your Passive Grid and Skill Specializations.

Youcan’t respec your Mastery; once you’ve chosen your Mastery, you’ll have to make a new character of the same class if you want to try a different Mastery.

How To Respec Passive Grid

To respec the Passive points you’ve put into your Passive Grid, you’ll need to visit any of the Respec NPCs in a major town like the End of Time.

The Respec NPC can be found by looking for thebrain iconon the mini-map.

At this NPC, select theRespecialize Mastery Pointallocationsoption to bring up your Passive Point Grid. Here, you may select any of your allocated Passive points toremove the point. Doing this will cost a bit ofgold. The amount of gold it costs to respec a Passive point depends on thecurrent level of the passive node.

Keep in mind that youneed to have at least 20 Passive points in your main classGridbefore you can allocate points to your Mastery, so you can’t remove main class passives below 20 total points if you still have points allocated to your Mastery Grid.

After removing Passive points from your grid, you can then freely allocate them elsewhere.

How To Respec Skill Specialization

Respeccing your Skill Specialization works a little differently. To do this, first open up the Skills menu and select the Skill you want to change. On that Skill’s Specialization tree, select theRespecoption at the top right.

Here, you’ll have the option to eitherremove an allocated Skill Pointfrom the tree orDespecialize the Skillentirely, allowing you to select a new Skill for Specialization.

When you remove a Skill Point, yourSkill’s level will be reduced by one, if it is currentlyabove the minimum Skill Level. This means that you can remove the allocated point, but you’ll need to continue using the Skill tolevel it up to again get the Skill Point back.

The minimum Skill Level increases as you level up your character, up to amaximum of ten.
