When it comes to gacha games, it’s a well-known fact that not all characters are created equal. Aside from characters being divided by their class, element type, or rarity, some of them just perform way better than others in certain aspects of the game, whether it be in PVE or PVP game modes.
This is certainly the case inEchocalypseas well, where rerolling for top-tier units might just decide whether you’ll progress slower compared to other players or breeze your way through the early and mid-game content. Rerolling can be quite tedious, but rest assured, it’ll benefit you in the long term.

Best Units To Reroll For
Before we start, here are some of thebest starting unitsin the game that you should consider rerolling for:
If you’re looking forthe best individual unit to reroll for, it would beAudreysimply because of her high versatility. She performs very well, no matter which team you put her in.

Nevertheless, getting any of the units listed above should give your account a significant headstart, especially if you manage to pull two or more of them.
How To Reroll In Echocalypse
Listed below are thesteps you need to take if you want to reroll in Echocalypse, as well as a couple ofoptional stepsthat you may take if you don’t mind spending more time on each reroll attempt.
In Echocalypse, one reroll attempt takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and anextra 13 to 15 minutesif you decide to go through with theoptional steps.

Step One: Make A Guest Account
First, you mustchoose the “Sign in as Guest” option in the login method selection screenthat you are shown whenever you open the game as a new player.
Playing as a guest allows you to delete your progress later on, so don’t pick any other login option just yet. You canbind your guest accountto Google, Facebook, or GTarcadeonce you’re done rerolling.

While creating a new account, don’t enter the username you’re planning on using for good.
Deleting guest accounts will not reset the usernames you used on them, so just put in a random one and change it to your preferred username once you’re done rerolling.Changing your username will cost you 200 Iridimorphiteslater.

Step Two: Clear Chapter Three Of The Expedition
Once you’re done creating your guest account, play through the tutorial andclear Chapter Three of the Expedition, which is Echocalypse’s story mode. This way, you’llunlock the Selected 10x Drawandgather enough S Elementium for the Advanced Draw.
While playing through Expedition stages up to Chapter 3, make sure touse the fast-forward featureas soon as it’s available, which allows you tospeed up combattwice or thrice faster than normal.

Also, remember toturn off CG animations and transition animations in the settings, as this will save you lots of precious minutes after going through multiple reroll attempts.
Step Three: Collect As Many S Elementiums And Iridimorphite As You Can
As soon as you’ve completed Chapter Three, get as many S Elementiums and Iridimorphiteas you can from the following sources:
All you need for this step arenine S Elementiums for the Advanced Draws, as the Selected 10x Draw won’t consume any items.

TheBattle Meritsfor clearing up to Chapter Three of the Expedition alone will give youeight S Elementiums, so you’re pretty much set if you just buy whatever’s missing with Iridimorphite.
Step Four: Pull On The Advanced Draw Banner
With enough S Elementiums in hand, you may nowpull on the Advanced Draws, whichguarantees at least one SSR unit appearing in your first ten draws. You’re required to pull on this banner once during the tutorial, so you can justdo nine single pulls to get the free guaranteed SSR.
Alternatively, you canspend one extra S Elementium for a ten-pull, which isfaster than summoning characters one by one.

TheSelected 10x Drawsbannerallows you topull ten sets of ten random units, withone SSR unit in each set—no more, no less. You can then choose one set of units out of the ten sets you pulled and claim them once you clear Chapter Seven of the Expedition.
Keep in mind thatthe SSR units you can pull from this banner are limitedand thatyou won’t find many top-tier units here. Nevertheless, the Selected 10x Draws banner does have somestandout units, such as:

The Selected 10x Drawsbanner isn’t as good as the Advanced Draws bannerbecause of itslimited character pool, but as you can see from above, you can still get a few decent units from it.
Securing a good SSR unit that you’re able to claim later on from the Selected 10x Draws would be great, butyou may also pull on this banner once you’re done rerollingif you want to shave off about a minute on each of your reroll attempts.

If you don’t plan on proceeding to step fiveand would like toskip to step seveninstead, remember tospend all your S Elementiums and Iridimorphiteby pulling on any banner before deleting your account.
Step Five: Clear Chapters Four And Five Of The Expedition (Optional)
If you don’t mind spending approximately 13-15 more minutes per rerollin exchange for more summons and potentially redeeming a bad guaranteed SSR pull on the Advanced Draws banner, proceed with this step.Otherwise, feel free to skip straight to step seven.
For this step, you’ll have toclear Chapters Four and Five of the Expeditionandclaim all the Battle Merits.By doing this andchecking other sources of extra S Elementiums and Iridimorphite, you’ll be able to pull for more units in the next step.
You will be able to unlock the Skip Battle feature upon reaching Chapter Four, which allows you to instantly skip non-boss fights. Make sure touse this feature in all the battles you can skipall the way up to Chapter Fiveto save time.
Step Six: Spend All Of Your S Elementiums, Iridimorphite, And Daily Tickets (Optional)
With theDaily 10x Drawsbanner unlocked upon clearing Chapter Four, you will now be able touse the ten Daily Tickets, which you canclaim in the Mail.
Pull on this banner using the tickets to try and get more SSR units, but do keep in mind that the rates here are quite low compared to other banners. The Daily 10x Draws banner only gives you aone percent chance to get SSR characters.
With your accumulated Iridimorphite and S Elementiums, you should alsopull on other banners as many times as you can. Ideally, you shouldspend all your remaining resources on time-limited bannerswhere featured units have higher rates of getting pulled.
If you haven’t spent any S Elementiums or Iridimorphiteaside from the ones consumed trying to get the guaranteed SSR unit from the Advanced Draws banner, you should have enough for at least another ten-pullin any banner of your choosing.
Step Seven: Keep Or Delete Your Account
After spending all your S Elementiums and Iridimorphite in step four or step six, you’ll now have tochoose whether you want to keep rerolling or save your current account.
Go ahead andbind your account if you’re done rerolling, but if you haven’t pulled the units you want and would like toreroll again, just go over to the main menu andclick your character portraitat the upper-left side of the screen:
Next,go to the Basic Data pageby clicking the third option on the left-hand side of your Personal Info page:
Now,click on the Switch Account feature.Doing this will take you back to the title screen:
To proceed, you now have toclick on the Account iconlocated at the upper-right side of the game’s title screen. It’s quite small, and a misclick might log you back into the game, so be careful:
If you’ve created a guest account, you will see a drop-down button on your account page.Clicking the drop-down button will reveal an X button next to your guest account:
Click on the X button to delete your guest account.Doing so will allow you to restart the reroll process by going back to step one as many times as you like.
