Unicorn Overlordboasts over 60 unique characters to recruit to Alain’s Liberation army, all of them with their own stat spreads, backstories, and potential relationships with each other. Thanks to this, it can be quite difficult to choose who deserves to be in your party and who should sit on the benches in reserve.
Lady Ochlys will make an early appearance, joining your army temporarily for the duration of The Winged Knight quest. She makes a solid impression, being a fast fighter who can fly. If you want her to stick around and join your army permanently, however, there are some steps to take.
How To Recruit Ochlys Permanently
Aftercompleting The Winged Knight, Ochlys leaves your army and sets up atRondmort Church, where she will open up aDivine Shardshop, allowing you to trade those rare items for useful equipment. As you trade Divine Shards for items, you’ll unlock more items for sale; this is the key to recruiting Ochlys.
To recruit Ochlys, you’ll need totrade at least 30 Divine Shards to herthrough the shop; she will join your army after you close the shop menu.
Don’t worry about losing access to the Divine Shard shop—after joining you, Ochlys will be replaced by a generic character, and there are other shops to boot.
Divine Shards can be found throughout the world with regularity. Explore every area you unlock and make it a priority to complete side quests when you uncover them.
In addition to finding Divine Shards on the map, you may also acquire them through themining minigame.
If you decide toexecute MandrinduringThe Winged Knight, you’ll get a nice boost of15 Divine Shardsright off the bat, which will severely cut down the time it takes to recruit Ochlys!
