Uprooting The Rock Rats is a quest that’s meant to show off the power of warriors inUnicorn Overlord. These units wield giant hammers that will make enemy Hoplites quake in their boots, and through most of the map, you’ll just be supporting the warrior who gets added to your party automatically as she tries to talk to her sister.
While this map is very straightforward, you should keep an eye out for rare items scattered around it and optional enemies to take out. It’s also worth doing this map before you go to rescue Scarlett, as the extra warrior will come in handy on the main map.

Recruitable Units
Nina
This map is designed to teach you how to use Warriors if you haven’t already recruited Mordon and Kitra. Most of the enemies will be taken out easily by Millé, and you’ll need to have hertalk to Nina to recruitthe latter after the fight.
Your focus should be onhaving units support Milléand branching out to grab some of the out-of-the-way items scattered around the map.
Best Units To Use In Uprooting The Rock Rats.
You won’t need very many units for this fight, so you should focus mostly onunitsthat help cover Millé’s weaknesses.
Sharon/Scarlett
Cleric/Priestess
They’re both good for keeping Millé’s unit alive long enough to take out the enemy Hoplites and speak to Nina.
Mordon/Kitra
Warrior
If you have them, since the map is already made with Warriors in mind, these units will make it go that much faster.
Yahna/Auch
Witch/Sorcerer
Magesare also very goodagainst Hoplites and Warriors, so they synergize well with Millé. They can also make use of the watchtower.
Aubin
Housecarl
IfAubin is the unit leader, he candamage barricadesas well, albeit slower, and you can use him for the various rangers and other non-armored enemies.
Strategy For Uprooting The Rock Rats
There’s nothing too complicated going on in this map, and unless you want to grab certain items, you probably won’t even need to split up your army.
To begin with, Millé will already be on the field.Only deploy one unit,as you’ll need to conserve Valor Points so Millé can smash the barricades and clear the way to the Watchtower and Nina.
Having a second unit being lead by a mage, a healer, or an archer will allow you to make use of the Watchtower right away.
Have Millé engage Nina and speak to her.You’ll still have to fight her, but when you beat her, you’ll gain theCounter Belt.Garrison at Tiche Donné Townanddeploy more unitsfrom there.
The game will point out the nearby campsite, but you can only use it once, so wait until multiple allies are low on stamina.
From there, head east towards Bryce, andtake the Watchtower in the northern forest.Station a mage there and have them assist Millé when she fights Bryce.
Bryce will go down, and you can have another unit finish off the rest of his units easily.
Units Obtained In Uprooting The Rock Rats
During the map itself, you’ll get Millé as a temporary ally and need to use her to smash through barriers and enemies alike. While she leaves at the end of this quest, Nina will join you instead, and she is the exactsame unit.
If you haven’t recruited Mordon or Kitra yet, this will be your firstWarrior. They’rebest in the second rowandspecialize in defeating armored unitssuch as Hoplites.
