Shortly after arriving in Vernworth inDragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll be given a few quests from Captain Brant, including ‘Monster Culling’, which requires you to delve into the Trevo Mine northwest of Vernworth city. While exploring the mines, you’ll come across plenty of enemies, but more importantly, lots of loot.

On the upper level of the Trevo Mine, there’s a chest on a ledge just out of reach. You’re likely wondering how to get to this chest, and there are a couple of ways, with one much safer and easier than the other. Here’s what you need to know.

Trevo Mine marked on the map in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Where Is Trevo Mine?

There is actually more than one entrance to Trevo Mine, but the one closest to Vernworth can be found byleaving the city from its northwest pathacross the bridge andfollowing the smaller path to the left/west.Follow the path andtake your first right(heading north) and then keep following the path until you cantake another left.

Where Is The Chest And What’s In It?

On theuppermost level of the Trevo Mine, beside the wooden draw bridge, is a chest up on a ledge on theeastern side of the wall. It contains aFerrystone.

You’ll know you’re on the correct floor of the mine as the map will show an exit to the north.

How To Reach The Chest

The Easy Way (With A Mage)

If you or one of your pawns are a Mage, you’re able to simplyuse Levitate to reach the chest, as shown at the end of the video included above.

If you are not a mage yourself, you can command a pawn to use Levitate by selecting the ‘Go!’ pawn order by pressing up on the D-pad while near the chest.

Your pawns need to notice and comment on the chest before you’re able to successfully give the command.

The Hard Way (Without A Mage)

If you don’t have a mage with you, you canleave the Trevo Mine from the northern exiton the upper level. Go outside, descend the ladder, then head right and follow the path to the top of the mountain, as shown in the video above.

Be sure to save before attempting this, as the jump can be tricky to get right.

You will come across a large hole that looks into the Trevo Mine, you’re able to carefully jump down onto the rock platforms to reach the treasure chest.

You must have decent health to achieve this as you’ll take damage when you land. There is also a good chance your pawn might not be as agile to you and fall all the way to the bottom to their death.
