Befriending the guy might seem like a stretch, and in some ways, sure. It is. But Tanaka is your key to the Devil Arcana, and if nothing else, he’s a pretty funny dude. Here’s how to make the most of your time as his apprentice in Persona 3 Reload.

How To Unlock The Devil Social Link
Unlocking the Devil Arcana Social Link means meeting President Tanaka, of course. Butthere are more steps involvedwith this one than most other Social Links in Persona 3 Reload. You mustinitiate a separate Social Link,advance it by multiple ranks, andpay a fair amount of money.
Additionally, you’ll need to have advanced a certain Social Stat. It’s a lot, sohere’s the rundown:
Once you’ve unlocked Tanaka’s Social Link, you’ll quickly be able toacquire his autograph. This item is needed for one ofElizabeth’s many Velvet Room requests!
Tanaka will ask for20,000 yenthe first time you speak with him (once your Charm is Smooth or greater). You’ll have to fork it over.Check back the following Tuesday or Saturday evening, andhe’ll want another 10,000 yen. Again, gotta roll with it. Check backagain, and he’ll wantanother10,000 yen.
Your fourth visit to this seedy salesman will at last allow you tospend time with him, which initiates theDevil Arcana Social Link. Congratulations, phew.
As mentioned, Tanaka is available to hang out with on Tuesday nights and Saturday nights.
