With Academics impacting your performance on school exams, Charm making you more memorable, and Courage opening doors to bold challenges, you’ll need to spend some time building all three social stats in Persona 3 Reload. With social links, special menu items at restaurants, and exam scores locked behind stat checks in P3R, here’s how to raise each stat.
There Are Three Social Stats In Persona 3 Reload
Social Stats Overview
Though more recent Persona titles include a wider spread ofsocial stats your protagonist will build throughout the game, Persona 3 Reload features, maybe thematically, onlythree stats.
Akin to other Persona titles, you’ll see a music note and hear a little chime when a skill is increased through something you do in daily life.

As you go through Persona 3 Reload, you’ll occasionally raise your skills naturally through gameplay, but the best way to raise your social stats in P3R is todedicate free time not spent with social links to raising your social stats.
What Do Your Social Stats Impact?
There are plenty of limitations and soft locks you’ll face if your skills aren’t quite up to snuff in Persona 3 Reload.
One of the biggest and most prominent reasons to raise your social stats in P3R is tomeet stat checks required by certain Social Links before they’ll spend time with you.
Temperance
Academics Lv. 2
Additionally, yourschool examsfactor in your Academics score, with certain days featuring no questions that are simply pulled from your social stats to assign value to your exam score, while certainsecret menu itemsalso require a high enough Courage or Charm stat before you can order.

Between Mitsuru, Bebe, and Akinari not wanting to hang out until you’ve reached a certain stat threshold and doing well on exams having some cool rewards on the line, here’s every way to raise your Academics stat in P3R.

Study at the Desk in Your Bedroom
Available anytime you’ve got free time,studying in your room in the dormsis a reliable way to boost your Academics.
Study in the Library at Gekkoukan
Any time the school is open, you can opt tostudy at the libraryinstead. Doing so ismore effective than studying at the dorms, and you’ll earn an additional Academics point.
Study with SEES Before Exams
In the week leading up to an exam at school,your teammates may bestudyingin the loungeat the dorm during the evening.Join themfor several Academics points, and a few priceless cutscenes.
Stay Awake in Class
When given the option to fall asleep during class,stay awaketo earn an Academics point.
Work at Screen Shot
Any day you don’t have class, you cantake a shift in the afternoon atScreen Shotat Port Island Station. Doing so willpayin yenand boost your Courage, in addition to boosting your Academics.
Work at Be Blue V
Be Blue V opens on7/22, and choosing to work there any weekday after school provides a boost not only to your Academics stat, but also your Charm as well.
Order From Wakatsu
AtIwatodai Strip Mall, you’ll find Wakatsu to the left on the second floor.Ordering a meal from herewill consume time, but will boost your Academics as well, withone point per meal.
TheSeafood Full Course, which is locked behind a Charm social stat check, offers two points instead.
Play You’re The Answer
OnSundays and Wednesdays, you’re able to choose to spend a time slot at the arcade in Paulownia Mall playing “You’re The Answer.”
Shared PC Programs
If you’re into studying digitally, several games from the net cafe, likeLanguage Made Easy, can boost your Academics score from the shared PC at Iwatodai Dorm.
Go to the Movies
Just because you can’t work at Screen Shot doesn’t mean you can’t go there for a stat boost! Movies that boost your Academics are shown onWednesdays and Saturdays.
Read with Mitsuru or Fuuka
After unlocking the ability to hang out with your teammates at the dorms, head to the second floor and choose to spend theeveningwithMitsuru or Fuuka. She has a collection of historical books that will increase your Academics.
Watch DVDs with Koromaru
Koromaruhas some nature documentaries to share that offer an Academics boost, in addition to some cool battle perks.
How To Raise Charm
With your popularity on the line (and all the suave things that come along with being charismatic), below are all the ways you can raise your Charm in P3R.
Answer Correctly in Class
When yourteachers call on youor your friends during class,giving the correct answerwill reward you with one point toward your Charm social stat.
Work at Cafe Chagall
Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings, you may pick up a part-time shift at Cafe Chagall at Paulownia Mall. Doing so will yield an increasing amount ofyen and Courage pointsin addition to a Charm boost.
After it opens on7/22, check out Be Blue V at Paulownia Mallany weekday after schoolfor a decent boost not only to your Charm, but to your Academics as well.
Drink Pheremone Coffee
When you’re not working at Cafe Chagall, head there for a cup ofPheremone Coffeeto enjoy a soothing Charm boost and a tasty beverage.
Eat at Hagakure Ramen
Ordering food from Hagakure Ramenon the second floor of Iwatodai Strip Mall will increase your Charm, with the secret menu items providing an additional Charm boost.
Play High School of Youth at the Arcade
At Game Parade at Paulownia Mall, head to the arcade onMondays and Thursdaysto play High School of Youth for ¥3,000 to earn some points for your Charm social stat.
Score Top of the Class on Exams
You’ll earn two points toward your Charm score when youscore highly on school exams.
Throughout the year, several programs become available from the net cafe at Iwatodai Strip Mall that raise your Charm, likeLessons in Etiquette.
If you’re looking for a few Charm points and some interesting cutscenes, head to Screen Shot onTuesdays and Fridays.
Watch DVDs with Yukari
On 6/16, you’ll unlock the ability to watch DVDs in the dormitory lounge.Yukari has DVDs that raise your Charm,so watch films with her to raise this stat.
How To Raise Courage
Last but certainly not least, you’ll need to test your mettle for far more than just hanging out with Fuuka and Mutatsu. Below are all the ways you can raise the Courage stat in P3R.
Perform Karaoke at Mandragora
Just behind the fountain at Paulownia Mall with the rainbow sign on the upper floor, you’ll findMandragora Karaoke. A round will cost ¥1,000 and reward you with a few Courage points, but it’s typically pretty busy on days off, so you may not always be able to get in.
Working part-time at Cafe Chagall in Paulownia Mall on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night pays withyen and Charm, in addition to a few Courage stat points.
Working at Screen Shot at Port Island Stationon your days off from school not only offers yen and Academics stat points, but you’ll earn several Courage points as well.
Fall Asleep in Class
When given the choice during long lectures, choose tofall asleep during classto earn a point toward your Courage as the teacher watches you drift off.
Eat at Wilduck Burger
TheMystery Burgerat Wilduck Burger at Iwatodai Strip Mall on the first floor will run you¥1,000 per serving, and eating it will boost your Courage.
Again, there are plenty of PC programs from the net cafe that will raise your Courage by a few points when you play them on the computer in the dorm lounge. Games likeAnimal OthelloorTypinGhoulcan help.

Watch DVDs with Akihiko
When you unlock the DVD player on 6/16,Akihiko watches DVDs that raise your Courage, so sit down with him in the dorm lounge for a flick when you need an extra point or two.
Read with Junpei
Junpeihas a series of books about baseball that boost your Courage when you read with him upstairs at the dorm.
You’ll likely have maxed your social stats before you reach the end of Persona 3 Reload, but maxing them out clears your schedule for time with your social links.

WHERE TO PLAY
Persona 3 Reload is a ground-up remake of the RPG classic, aligning the aesthetics with the more recent Persona 5. It does not contain any of the changes or extra content from Persona 3 FES or Persona 3 Portable.
