Summary
Dehya is a five-star Claymore user inGenshin Impactwho fields a Pyro vision, and hails from the nation of Sumeru. Going by the title of “Flame-Mane”, Dehya is a fierce and strong warrior, considered as a legend among Eremites and mercenaries, and exhibiting brute strength on the battlefield.
Regarded as one of the more difficult characters to play due to her unique mechanics, such as being able to absorb the DMG taken by your other characters even when she’s not on the field, and her Elemental Burst state being regarded as one whole Elemental Burst animation, Dehya has seen great improvements with every update. With the right knowledge and tips, even the most complicated of characters can be worth giving a shot.

6Set Your Clock To Daytime To Move Faster
Dehya’s Exploration Talent, The Sunlit Way, increases the Movement Speed of your team by ten percent during the day.You can take advantage of this by adjusting your clock and setting it to daytime so that you can enjoy the permanent Movement Speed buff, which makes overworld exploration much easier.
To adjust the time, simply go to the Paimon Menu and click the clock icon. Daytime in Genshin Impact is between 6:00 and 18:00.

This Passive has some limitations and will not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or the Spiral Abyss. Additionally, it’s unstackable with other Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects, such as Gaming’s Exploration Talent, so keep that in mind when forming overworld teams with Dehya.
5She Can Absorb The Team’s DMG Taken
After using Dehya’s Elemental Skill, Molten Inferno, she deploys a field at her position. You can cast her Elemental Skill again to reposition the field, which will inherit the previous field’s remaining duration.
When your active character receives DMG while inside the field, a portion of that DMG will be mitigated and stored into a mechanic called Redmane’s Blood, which Dehya will receive over ten seconds until the stored DMG goes over a certain limit. This field will also grant your active character resistance to interruption, which allows you to safely attack without needing to worry about your HP.

4Her Elemental Burst Is Different From Other Bursts
One of the most unique mechanics that Dehya has in her arsenal is how her Elemental Burst, Leonine Bite, is programmed. Using it will cancel her Elemental Skill and make her enter a state that will make her automatically launch continuous punches that deal AoE Pyro DMG, even if you don’t press anything.
Pressing the Normal Attack button will increase her Elemental Burst’s Attack Speed.

Once her Elemental Burst ends, she places her Elemental Skill at her position.
What makes Dehya’s Elemental Burst different from other characters’ Bursts that provide Elemental Infusions, such as Xiao, Itto and Cyno, is thather attacks are considered one entire Elemental Burst animation, and will deal Elemental Burst DMG.During this state, you won’t be able to use her Elemental Skill and Normal, Charged or Plunging Attacks.

Because Dehya’s punches in this state are considered an Elemental Burst, they won’t be able to trigger abilities that require you to perform Normal Attacks, such as Xingqiu and Yelan’s Elemental Burst.
Conversely, her punches will benefit from buffs that increase Elemental Burst DMG, such as Emblem of Severed Fate’s four-piece effect.

3She Can Be Played Both On And Off-Field
you’re able to choose to play Dehya as either an on-field main DPS by focusing on her Elemental Burst DMG, or as an off-field DPS or support through her Elemental Skill. Aside from having defensive capabilities, her Elemental Skill will also unleash a coordinated attack that deals AoE Pyro DMG whenever an enemy within the field takes DMG.
This mechanic allows her to be a flexible team member depending on what you need. Since her Elemental Skill can deal DMG off-field, she can:
2She Can Be Immune To Dying From DoT
After unlocking her fourth Ascension Passive, Stalwart and True, Dehya will be able to heal herself when she reaches a certain percentage of health. When her HP goes below 40 percent, she will automatically recover 20 percent of her Max HP, and an additional six percent of her HP every two seconds for ten seconds.
This effect can only be triggered once every 20 seconds.
When exploring in Teyvat, you might come across some environmental hazards that can deal DMG over Time and continuously drain your characters’ HP if you stay for too long, such as Sheer Cold in Dragonspine, and Balethunder in Inazuma. With Dehya’s regeneration passive, you’re able to easily cheese through these hazards, as she’ll be able to heal herself to almost full HP every time the DoT brings her to below 40 percent HP.
1Always Double Cast Her Elemental Skill
After unlocking Dehya’s first Ascension Passive, Unstinting Succor, her Elemental Skill will have an additional effect. After repositioning it, either through using her Skill a second time, or after her Elemental Burst ends, Dehya will take 60 percent less DMG from Redmane’s Blood.
This Passive will also further increase the resistance to interruption granted by her Elemental Skill.
With this Passive unlocked, you can lessen the DMG that Dehya receives by a significant amount. ensure to always reposition her Elemental Skill as it not only allows you to continuously deal off-field DMG to enemies, but also ensures Dehya’s survivability.
