Characters fromGenshin Impactcan hail from any of the seven nations in Teyvat, and sometimes even beyond. Some, however, have chosen to venture away from their homes, such as Kaeya, Albedo, Thoma, Wanderer, and Chiori, a native of Inazuma.
Chiori is a five-star Sword user who wields a Geo vision, and despite residing in Fontaine, actually came all the way from Inazuma to establish her fashion career. In battle, she excels in dealing both on-field and off-field Geo DMG with her dolls, which become more powerful with the presence of Geo constructs.
6Change Your Characters’ Default Outfits Or Wind Gliders
Chiorihas a unique Exploration Talent, called Brocaded Collar’s Beauteous Silhouette.When any party member is wearing an outfit or wind glider other than their default one, your team’s Movement SPD will be increased by ten percent.
You don’t need to buy any outfits just for this Passive to work, as equipping any one of your characters with thefree wind gliderswill give you a permanent Movement SPD increase.
This effect does not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, and the Spiral Abyss, and won’t stack with itself should there be another Chiori in the party in co-op.
5Use Her Elemental Skill To Reposition Or Close Distance
Chiori’s Elemental Skill, Fluttering Hasode, will make her dash forward and sweep her blade to deal Geo DMG.If you hold this skill, you can enter aiming modeto adjust the direction of her dash,similar to KeqingandAlhaitham’sElemental Skills.
This Skill is not only useful for getting close to enemies, but it can also aid you in exploration, allowing you to move faster, position yourself, reach Oculi, or access places that would be hard to climb.Additionally, Chiori will summon a doll at the end of her dash, which will deal Geo DMG at intervals alongside your active character.
4Pair Her With Geo Constructs
Chiori’s playstyle heavily relies on the presence of Geo Constructs.While her doll is active, if there are any nearby Geo Constructs, or a Geo Construct is created, an additional doll will be summoned and will deal DMG alongside the original doll.
Additionally, after unlocking her fourth Ascension Passive, The Finishing Touch, whenever a party member creates a Geo Construct, Chiori will gain 20 percent Geo DMG Bonus for 20 seconds. When forming your team, make sure at least one of her teammates is able tocreate Geo Constructs, such as:

After unlocking Chiori’s first Ascension Passive, Tailor-Made, you can gain different effects at the end of her Elemental Skill’s dash.These effects will depend on whether you press her Elemental Skill again, or her Normal Attack.

Chiori’s Geo infusion can be overridden by other elements, so be careful when using her with characters who can also provide elemental infusion, such as Chongyun, Candace, and C6 Bennett.
This passive makes Chiori an extremely versatile characterwho can cater to any playstyle. Be mindful when using her Elemental Skill and press the right key or button in order to get your desired effect.
2She Can Benefit From Both ATK And DEF
Chiori’s abilities have a special property which lets them scale with not just one stat.Her dash and dolls will dealGeo DMG that scales with both her ATK and DEF,with DEF having a higher multiplier.
Despite Chiori gaining a Geo infusion from her Passive, herNormal Attacks will only scale with ATK, and not her DEF. Take this into account when deciding on her playstyle.
Additionally, her Elemental Burst, Hiyoku: Twin Blades, will deal AoE Geo DMG to enemies around Chiori, which is also based on her ATK and DEF. This allows you to make use of DEF buffs, such as Husk of Opulent Dreams, while also benefiting from ATK buffs like Noblesse Oblige.
1She Can Combo With Other Characters
After usingChiori’sElemental Skill, pressing the Skill again will instantly switch to the next character after Chiori.
