Exploration is a big part ofDragon’s Dogma 2, not just for materials you’ll need, but for all the places and dungeons you can find. Some of them are easy to find and get pointed out to you such as Trevo Mine, but others sit far off in the wilderness.

It may be difficult to find these locations, but it can definitely be worth it. Some of them, like the Tomb of Al’Guttos, not only hide challenging fights for those looking to test their might, but you can even find some rare loot – if you survive the fight, that is.

How To Find The Tomb Of Al’Guttos

The Tomb of Al’Guttos islocated at the western edge of central Battahl, and requires you to gofairly far off the main roadsto reach it.

You’ll want tostart at Battahl Ropeway Station Three, which you can reach by taking any of the Ropeway Stations to theBattahl Ropeway Central Station, thentaking it to the west.

Battahl Ropeway Station Threeissituated right on top of a bandit campwhich you can reach andunlock the door of by leaving the station and breaking the wooden plankblocking the door.

From there,follow the river westusing either the slight pathway or just the river itself, and keep going until youreach where it branches off in three ways.

Hug therock wall surrounded by trees, and you’ll find aseries of rocks you’re able to use to climb uponto the platform above. Here you’llfind a campsite, theRiftstone of the Calm, and theentrance to the Tomb of Al’Guttosin the nearby cliff.

There’s arelatively tough fight inside the tomb, so you’ll want torest up at the campfireandmake sure your Loss Gauge is fullor that youhave some food buffsbefore you go in.

What Can You Find In The Tomb Of Al’Guttos?

Alongside someregular Undead, Skeletons, and theoccasional Phantasm, the biggest thing you’ll find in the Tomb of Al’Guttos in what’sessentially a double boss fight.

Though they are stronger, Phantasms essentiallyoperate the same way as Phantoms do.

You’llnot only have to deal with a Lich, but also a prettystrong Fell Lordthat wields both aGreatsword and a Shieldand whoalternates between the two combat styles.

You’ll want tofocus on the Lichfirst and kill itas soon as possible, but this can be difficult, as theFell Lord is mostly going to attack you, and uses severalWarrior-esque moves.

The Fell Lord is aseparate boss, but still counts as a regular Undead andcan be resummonedby the Lich.

The Light in this tomb isvery similar tothered-robed Wightsin terms of damage, movement style, and health, but ituses several different attacks.

Tracking Orbs

Summonsseveral clear orbs that track you downand cause damage and knockback.

Summon Undead

Summons aroundthree to five random Skeleton enemiesand revives the Fell Lord if it’s been defeated.

Lightning Field

Summons alarge purple circlebeneath it andafter a slight delay, itsends lightning strikesat nearby targets.

AMage with Empryean or High Empyreanwill not only help do damage but also help stun the Undead andprevent the Wight from summoningmore skeletons.

Treasure Found In Al’Guttos Tomb

Besides some armor and other items, you’ll also be able to get theEnigmatic Robeas adrop from killing the Lich, and there’s asingle Seeker’s Tokennear some stalagmites and a harvest pointin the middle section.
