InPalworld, capturing every Pal among the hundred-plus available is a natural desire but not an easy task. To improve your chances, use high-probability capture Spheres and weaken the Pal’s health. For those who play and know Pokémon, in this case, the False Swipe attack is a lifesaver. No matter how much damage you dealt to Pokémon, it ensured that you left them with 1 HP.
In Palworld, you also deal damage with your Pals, so your attacks are crucial in battles. But what if you don’t want to deal a fatal blow to the Pals you want to capture? Then, of course, you need to have the Ring of Mercy. Here’s how to get one for yourself.
How To Get Ring Of Mercy
If you want to craft the Ring of Mercy, the first thing you need to do isreach Level 19.This way, you’ll be able to craft items at this level from the tech tree. The Ring of Mercy is among them, located on the far right.

How To Obtain Resources For Ring Of Mercy
Earn Two Ancient Technology Points
You can follow two paths to accumulateAncient Technology Points. Eitherdefeat the Pal Tamersin the towers or roam the vast map of the game anddefeat the Alpha Palswith varying levels.
Fortunately,you’ll only need two Ancient Technology Pointsto unlock the Ring of Mercy. You can easily obtain this by defeating one of the easiest Alpha Pals, Chillet.
Chillet’s coordinates are171, -418.
Acquire 30 Ingots
To quickly obtain 30 Ingots, you cango to specific locations on the map andfarm Ore.You’ll need a total of 60 Ore to produce 30 Ingots. After collecting 60 Ore, you’ll need toconvert them into Ingots using the Primitive Furnace.
The Primitive Furnace is unlocked from the Technology Tree at Level 10. If you have a Pal with ‘Kindling’ at your base, they will convert Ore into Ingots for you.
Additionally, you don’t necessarily need to explore the map to obtain the Ores required for Ingots. If you’ve unlocked the Ancient Technology called Ore Mining Site, which opens up at Level 15,you can assign your Pal to mine Ore at your base.
Acquire 20 Paldium Fragments
You can also obtain the Paldium Fragments you needby exploring the map ormining their ores. If you can’t find them, you canbuild a Crusher at your base.The Crusher is unlocked from the Technology Tree at level eight. With its feature, you canconvert the Stones you have into Paldium Fragments.You’ll need 100 Stones to obtain 20 Paldium Fragments.
Acquire Five Ancient Civilization Parts
Toacquire Ancient Technology Parts, you need toobtain them from the Alpha Pals you encounterwhile exploring the map.
Alternatively, you can also obtain them from dungeon bosses in the game.

For more Ancient Technology Parts,capture dungeon bosses or Alpha Palsfirst. Then,use the Meat Cleaver to butcher them.This will increase your chances and drop the rate of obtaining Ancient Technology Parts even further.
Craft A High Quality Workbench
After unlocking the Ring of Mercy and acquiring its materials, you’ll need to have a workbench to craft it. For this, you’ll need tocraft a High Quality Workbench.Fortunately, this workbench isunlocked from the Technology Tree at Level 11.If you haven’t made it yet, here are the materials you need:

Ring Of Mercy’s Ability Explained
The Ring of Mercy is an accessory item that can be crafted. First, remember that your character has two accessory slots. So, if you’re using other accessories, you can remove the Ring of Mercy when you don’t need it.
As long as you equip the Ring of Mercy,you will have the ‘Mercy Hit’ ability.This means thatyour damage dealt to Pals will not be fataland they will survive with one HP.
For example, if you deal 3,000 damage to a level one Lamball,it won’t die,and its health won’t drop below one. This situation significantly facilitates capturing Pals with a Sphere. Wearing the Ring of Mercy while capturing Pals will be advantageous for you.
This Doesn’t Apply To Your Pals
However, even though you don’t deal fatal damage to Pals,your team will not be affected by this ability.In other words, Pals left with one HP by you can still be killed by your Pals. In this case, the best thing to do is to withdraw your Pal when the health of the Pal you’re fighting decreases, allowing you to make the final hits. This way, you further ensure that they don’t die.
However, when you withdraw your Pal, you’ll be the sole one tanking the damage from the targets you’re fighting, so you need to be careful.
In short, make sure toequip the Ring of Mercy for valuable Pals that you highly prioritize capturing.When you’re not considering capturing Pals and want to deal fatal damage, make sure not to use this item.
