One look at the map ofSkull And Bonesand you’ll realize that it’s massive. It can take you nearly an hour to go from one end of the map to another, and while there is a fast travel mechanic, it’s not a cheap one during the early game.

There are times when you have to go on a long journey to get to a certain place, and it can easily get boring if there are no enemies on the way. Thankfully, you’re able to sing sea shanties to keep yourself entertained in these times.

How To Start Sea Shanties

It’s quite easy to start singing shanties while you’re sailing your ship in the waters by just accessing your Action Wheel. The button you need to press for this can be found in your keybinds, but it’s Left Control on PC by default. Once you’ve opened the wheel, look for a melody icon on the first page, which is usually on the left side.

Pressing this button will both make your crew start and stop singing. While sea shanties are an integral part of any pirate game, it can getquite frustrating if your crew starts singing when you’re trying to pay attentionto something. You can use this method to stop them instantly.

You can also cycle between different shanties bypressing this button over and overuntil you get the one you like.

Moreover, the shanties automatically stop when you’re in battle.

If you don’t see the melody icon on your wheel, you can also equip it by opening the wheel edit screen, and the button for this is displayed when you open your wheel. In the edit screen, head over to the cosmetic area and you’ll see the icon. You can also move this icon to a different page with this method.
