In addition to crafting with raw materials such as metal and wood, you will be able to make and use fabrics inEnshrouded. With the Hunter NPC, you will eventually make Fabric, and from this, you can eventually make Yellow Fabric. While this may sound pretty much the same, it’s a bit harder to obtain.
Here, we are going to go over how to get your hands on some Yellow Fabric. To start this off, you will first need to have the Hunter NPC in your base. If you haven’t done this yet, don’t worry! Let’s quickly learn how to get this NPC at your base first.

Enshrouded is currently in Early Access on Steam and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update these articles as required.
How To Unlock The Hunter NPC
Like all NPCs in Enshrouded, the Hunter can be found in an Ancient Vault. From the Springlands Ancient Spire, you just need to head east.In this direction, you will see aflat clearing with the vault located on the right-most side.
After you unlock the Blacksmith,a marker will also be placed here on your map.The path here isn’t too treacherous if you come from the spire; just look out for any enemies that can be found around the entrance of the vault.

You can defeat all the enemies here,as well as just sneak by. Once you wake the Hunter, you can immediatelyteleport home and avoid passing by the enemies again.
Once the Hunter has been unlocked, you can use yourSummoning Staffto place her in your base. Her placement isn’t permanent;you can use the Summoning Staff again to change her position. In order to craft, she will need to be sheltered; consider placing the Hunter in a house or on acovered porch with her related crafting equipment.

How To Get Fabric
Before making Yellow Fabric, you willfirst need to make normal Fabric. This is done at the Loom, which will first need to be found. After completing theLoom for the Hunter quest, you can then freely place the item in your base. This is afetch questthat has you visiting a few locations in search of this crafting equipment.
With the Loom placed, it’s time to make some fabric! This is done withfive pieces of Linen, which is another material that needs to be crafted. Thankfully, it’s not too difficult.

To make Linen, you will need to craft it withtwo Flax at the Hunter’s Hand Spindle. So overall, two Flax make one Linen, and one Fabric requires five Linen. This means that in total, you will need ten Flax to make one Fabric.
Flax is found growing in theRevelwood biome, which lies north of the Springlands. You’ll know when you are here once you start to see dense forests with very tall trees.
How To Make Yellow Fabric
Fabric in hand, you can now make the yellow version. You don’t need any extra equipment to do this; justhead back to the Hunter NPC with the following materials.
Saffron is found within theKindlewastes biome, but it’s quite rare. Thankfully, Saffron can be farmed! To make five Saffron Seedlings at the Seedbed, you will need the following.
Within the Kindlewastes, you can find Saffrongrowing north of the Ancient Spire. The material is red, making it easy to spot as you run around.
With just one Saffron, you will be able to make Yellow Fabric. We recommendusing your first Saffron to farm more;this allows you to grow more at home rather than setting out when you need it. Overall, you will never have to Saffron hunt again if you collect at least one piece.
What To Do With Yellow Fabric
Yellow Fabric is used to make strong armor like theSage Armor set. This isone of the best armor sets in the game, with the piecesboosting your healing powers and Mana regeneration. You’ll also need some Yellow Fabric to make theArchmage set, which is a more typical DPS mage build.
It’s not a necessity to stock up on Yellow Fabric, butwe suggest having the crafting materials on hand (such as Fabric, Flax, and Saffron). These materials are used for a few other crafting recipes, so it’s good to have a fair amount built up in your storage.
