The Dream Castle inDisney Dreamlight Valleyhouses many locked doors. Behind these doors are iconic Disney and Pixar characters you can bring to the village you create. However, they won’t leave their realms right away. You’ll have to help them solve some problems at home before they follow you to the valley.
The Monsters, Inc. Realm features the Laugh Floor, which you’ll help operate before you’re able to bring Mike Wazowski and Sulley to your village. Here’s how you can unlock their realm and start helping them out with work as an intern at the company. Get ready to do some cleaning!
How To Unlock The Monsters, Inc. Realm
To unlock the Monsters, Inc. Realm, you’ll have toopen the door in the Dream Castle. Make your way to thethird level of doors, then select thefirst one on the left.
The doorcosts 15,000 Dreamlightto open, but you’ll only have to pay it once. The questEscape Claws will beginthe moment the door is unlocked, so head inside to start working on the quest.
You don’t have to head inside right away if you have other things you want to take care of first.
Your first step is toexamine the door to the Laugh Floor. However, instead of opening, you’ll be scanned. Because you’re human, you can’t get through. Headback to the lockersnear where you entered andretrieve the Lost and Found Monster Wear.
Open the bag andassemble your monster disguise. You’ll need toequip a pair of monster earsand theMonsters, Inc. Hard hat. Take a selfie andreturn to the Laugh Floor door. This time, it opens for you.
How To Clean The Laugh Floor
Talk to Sulley and he’ll mark you as the new intern. You first task as an intern is toclean up the Laugh Floor. There arefour Slug Slime Puddles and eight Party Trash pilesto clean up. They are scattered all about the Laugh Floor, so keep your eyes open.
You’llstomp on the Party Trashto dispose of it, and you’ll have touse your Royal Watering Can to rinse away the slime. Once the mess has been cleaned up,return to Sulley. He’ll thank you and set you on your next task: coffee.
How To Make Sulley’s Coffee And The Mike Wazowski Special
As an intern, it’s your job to do the coffee run.Mike and Sulley need coffeeto start their day, and thankfully afresh shipment of suppliesjust arrived. Sulley gives you the coffee order and sends you on your way:

How To Rescue Mike Wazowski
The power fails andMike is stuck inside the door! You’ll have to help Sulleyrestore the power. First, you’ll needthe Emergency Manual. After that, you’ll have toreplace the fuses and reconnect the power lines.
Where To Find The Emergency Manual
The Emergency Manual can be foundon the first desk on the Laugh Floor. Pick it up andreturn it to Sulleyso he can give you the next steps to restore power on the Laugh Floor.
Where To Find The Fuses
There arethree fuses that need to be found. Two can be found onthe desks in the room, and the third one is found all the way in the back,on top of a red tool chest.
With all three fuses,head back to the power supply. Interact with it toadd all three of the new fuses. Now all that’s left is to fix the power lines.
How To Fix The Power Lines
To fix the power lines, you’ll need tointeract with them. There areten lines to reconnect, and some of them arehidden under the canister carts. You’ll need topush the carts out of the wayto get to the power lines.
Once they’re all connected, thepower is restoredand Mike is freed!Speak to Mikeabout what happened, thenreturn to Sulley. He’s surprised that you’re not a monster like them, but he’s just happy for the help.
The quest concludes, but there’sstill work to dobefore bringing Mike and Sulley to the village.
