It is only possible to make an account registered to the same server as your PS5. If you have previously played Honkai Star Rail on a server set in a different location to your PS5, then you will be unable to carry progress across to a different one.
Linking A Honkai Star Rail Account On PS5 As A New Player
Completely new to the Astral Express? Don’t fret, as once you’ve installed Honkai Star Rail onto your PS5, simplyboot up the game and follow the instructions provided.You’ll be prompted to make a new account, choose a password, and your new account will automatically be linked between Huyoverse and PSN.
Linking A Honkai Star Rail Account On PS5 As An Existing Player
For those who havealready played Honkai Star Rail on either mobile or PC,you must follow the next steps to ensure you keep all your characters and progress:
Before starting, you’ll want tocheck that your Hoyoverse account is linked to your correct email address.You can do this at the User Center in-game orhere.
Once complete, yourHonkai Star Rail account is linked to your PS5,and you’re ready to start playing!
Linking A Honkai Star Rail Account As A Genshin Impact Player
If you’re normally found playing as the Traveler fromGenshin Impact, then you’ll already have a Hoyoverse account. To link your existing account to your Honkai Star Rail account, simply log in using the same account credentials once you’ve opened the game.
If you previously Played Genshin Impact on PS5, then the two accounts should already be linked.
