As a Salary Person, your Sims get to experience the exciting world of data analytics, spreadsheets, and corporate supervision! It’s a dream come true for your Workaholic Sims. Sims in this career have two new Career Branches to explore, Expert and Supervisor letting them fully integrate with the corporate machine.
How To Start The Salary Person Career
Starting careers in The Sims 4 is typically thesame across the board- except some gig careers likeOdd Jobs. To start the Salary Person career, firstselect your phonein the bottom left of your screen.
From your phone menu,select the briefcaseicon to enter thecareer tab. The career tab has the option to’Find A Job'. Select this tab to go to thecareer selection menu, and then select theSalary Person Career. you’re able to also join a career from thecareer menuof acomputer. In the computer’s career tab, select ‘Find A Job.’
Salary Person Career Requirements
Luckily, the Salary Person career doesn’t have a lot of requirements. In fact, there’s really onlya single requirementto meet before you may start and level the career;access to a computer.
You willneed a computerin order tocompleteyour daily tasks like’Prepare Semi-Important Reports’and’Optimize Spreadsheet Formulas'.
The Salary Person career also requires you tolevel the following skillsin order to get promoted and complete job-related tasks: theLogicskill, theCharismaskill, theProgrammingskill, and theWritingskill.
You need to have access to acomputerin order to practiceProgramming and Writing skills.
Salary Person Career Levels
The Salary Person career is afull career, so there areten possible levelsfor promotion. Thefirst four levelsare entry-level and require you to level up your Sim’sLogic and Writing skills. Awards you the ‘Charismatic Crooner’ reward trait
When you get to thefifth levelin the career, you will have the opportunity tochoose a career branch.Your choices are theExpert branchand theSupervisorbranch. Each branch hasdifferent daily tasksandpromotional requirements.
At the fourth level, you will also unlock the’Charismatic Crooner’trait. This traitincreases the speedwith which youlevel the Singing skillas well as helps your Simform stronger bonds with co-workers. Think of it as a reward for all your Sim’s embarrassing after-work Karaoke parties.
Expert Career Branch Levels
Expert Sims will need to excel in… well, Excel! Sims entering theExpertcareer branch should get ready to look at computer screens for an inhumane amount of time, because thiscareer branch revolves around filling in spreadsheetsand completing data analytics.
TheExpert career branchrequires your Sim to level their Logic skillsas well as theirProgramming skills. Your Sim will be dealing with finances, numbers, and lots and lots of spreadsheets. Think of this branch as thefinancemanager’s branch.
Sims that already enjoy theProgramming skillandcomputer tasksarebest suitedto this career branch.
Thepromotion skillsfor the Expert branch areLogic and Programming.To get promoted to level six in this branch, you need toreach Programming skill level three, so it’s best to start leveling your Programming skill while you’re in thebasic Salary Person branch.

Supervisor Career Branch Levels
As a Supervisor, your Sim will need to be agood public speakerand havegood Sim sense. Theskill leveling requirementsfor the Supervisor branch areLogic and Charisma.No one wants to listen to a boring supervisor, so Sims who arewell-suited to social taskswill do best in this career branch.
Because Charisma is the special skill associated with the Supervisor Branch, you want to make sure that yourSim is as social as possible.
Next time your Sim’s phone beeps and your Sim is asked to head to a lounge foropen mic night, go! Open mic night is agreat way to level your Charismaskill.

Practicing writing and publishing written works are not just a great way to practice your Writing skill, but canalso serve as surplus income.
For theExpert branch, your Sim needs to be agood Programmer. Use your computer toprogram gamesandcreate new plugins. Computer programming is a great hobby for your Sim to pick up in the Expert branch.

Moodlets
Every career in the Sim has aspecial moodletthatboosts Sim performancein that career. For the Salary Person Career, there are actuallytwo moodletsthat give Sims a performance boost:Focused and Confident.
For Sims in theExpert branch,Programming and Logic Skills will increase more quickly when the Sim goes to work with theFocused moodlet. The Focused moodlet boosts Logic skill gain.
For Sims in theSupervisor branch, Charisma and Logic are the two skills you’ll be leveling. To get your SimFocusedmore often when they head to work, give your Sims theGenius traitin theCreate A Sim menu. The Genius trait gives your Sims achance to randomly become Focused. Similarly, theScience Lairlot traitboosts Logic skill gainbyfifty percent. You can add lot traits in thebuild menu.
TheGenius trait and Science Lairlot traits are great forall branchesof the Salary Person Career, butmost affect the Expert branch.
Sims with theSelf-Assured traitbecomeConfidentmore frequently and have an easier time of becomingVery Confidentwhen they are already Confident. Lots with theConvival Lot Traitboost Charisma skillgain byfifty percent.
TheSelf-Assured traitandConvivallot traits are the best traits for Sims in theSupervisor career branch.
