During your time exploring the world ofUnicorn Overlord, you’ll encounter a number of different objects in the world. At first, you won’t be able to make heads or tails of them, but as you recruit more characters, you will find that certain recruits are able to generate a resource, or open up a specific type of event, by interacting with these objects.
This guide will act as a quick reference for everyone who is curious about what these mysterious objects do. We will also point you in the direction of where you may recruit each character associated with these objects.
Every World Ability And What It Does
World Abilities are the skills that certain characters have that will allow you to interact with certain objects found in the world. All of this will be optional, so it is possible to miss some of these characters. However, while none of the things you acquire through interacting with these objects are necessary for completing the game, they will make your adventuresubstantiallysmoother.
Lex

When you interact with a tower on the world map, Lex will climb to the top and obtain apiece of Watchman Equipment.
Chloe
When you interact with ruins, Chloe will search them and acquireHallowed Corne Ash.
Yahna
The Ravaged Swamp
This one is a little more involved than some of the others. Having Yahna isn’t enough to get anything to happen with those carvings;you will need to locate the faded journals as well.The journals are found hidden in ruins.There is one journal for every country.

The Priestess Abducted
Repairing these bridges will allow you to access optional areas. Some of these will hold treasures, others will provide you with resources. For more information,read our complete guide here.
Selvie
Interact with the Sigil Southeast ofFort Lonteriain Cornia
Once you have recruited Selvie, you will be able to activate Sigils to engage in repeatablecombat trials.
Sharon
The Winged Knight

Ithilion
The Elven Knight
Once you have recruited Ithilion, he will be able to search these mysterious Stone Circles forStar Iron.

Ramona
Tempest of White
You will find these sealed gates in each nation.Once you have acquired Ramona you will be able to open them, at which point you will encounter an enemy.Beat them, and you will be rewarded with a powerful piece of equipment.
These enemy encounters are pretty much the same as the class sparring battles.
