What Are Idols?

Idols are items that you can equip in yourinventory panel, similar to armor and weapons, that provide a variety of stats. However, unlike weapons and armor, Idols can take up different amounts of space. For example, some Idols take up a one-by-one square, while others fit into a three-by-one rectangle.

Idols are found in a number of different rarities, ranging in size and power. Class-specific Idols provide passive bonuses unique to that class, like increasing Hail of Arrows’s duration for Rogues or reducing the health cost of spells for Acolyte.

Idols drop from almost every source that equipment does. While they are a bit rarer than normal pieces of armor or weapons, there are methods for obtaining tons of them at a time, likeMonolithsandDungeons.

Certain Monolith nodes have increasedIdol drops as their main reward, which will drop several Idols upon completion. Similarly, you can choose certain chest rewards at theend of a Dungeonto get more Idols to drop.
