While Ichiban is in Hawaii inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, it only makes sense that he would find himself helping to rebuild a broken-down resort to its former glory. A big part of that is ensuring your guests are happy and provided for during their stay with you.
While there are multiple ways to increase your guests' satisfaction on Dondoko Island, the key is to be consistent in visiting them each day and ensuring that their requirements for their stay are met. Improving your island overall and increasing the level of furnishings will go a long way in ensuring your guests are satisfied.

Meet Guest Requests
Before you even meet your guests, they will have requirements and preferencesabout where they stay. Luckily, your first guests aren’t picky, but they only get harder to please from there. You’ll be able toview these preferences when you’re placing them in a roomandvia the ‘Guests’ option in the Dondoko pausemenu.
Youdon’t have to meet all their requeststo get a guest to stay at your resort, butgetting the highest approval will be a lot more difficult.

Some guest requests will be simple to understand, such as arequest to stay in a room with a certain letter ratingor higher. In these cases, you can get a bonus by placing them in rooms that are even betterthan what was requested.
Other requests include enhancing your resort’s style in one of four areas. These include:

If you seea guest’s request you haven’t met, and it mentions one of these categories, you need toimprove in that area with those types of furnishings. However, this can be accomplished while your guest is stayingon the island, giving you a little bit of room to correct any errors.
While visiting, guests will also wander around the immediate area and interact with the different furnishings. If they see things they like, their approval will naturally improve, andyou’ll get a notificationon the left side of the screen.
Thankfully, increasing style on your island in one direction won’t negatively impact the others, so you’re free to keep adding until you run out of space.
Your guests may alsorequest that a certain animal or item be discovered, whichbecomes forever unlockedafter you find one. These requests become mucheasier to fulfill when you unlock more areason the island.
Souvenirs And Campfires
Shortly after you begin to recruit guests to Dondoko Island, you’ll be visited by the young Subaru. With a cabin on the west beach,he’ll begin coming up with ideas for new souvenirs, andyou can pay him for the blueprints. Once unlocked, you’lluse resources located on the island to craft the souvenirsbefore gifting them to guests.
You’llneed building talentbefore you’re able to craft certain souvenirs in Subaru’s cabin, somake sure you’ve met the requirementsbefore purchasing.
As you create more of the same souvenirs, they’ll become more popular, andyou can sell them for extra Dondokobucks.
After upgrading your island to level three, Subaru will come to a morning meeting andoffer the option to begin hosting campfiresfor your guests as a boost to their overall satisfaction.you may only host a campfire one night per three-day tour, andit will cost 100,000 Dondokobucksto do so after speaking with the young craftsperson.
Daily Interactions
As a member of the island’s staff, Ichiban must keep up appearances when around the guests. You can greet guests once per day for a small rewardto their satisfaction, and it requires no more than for you topress the emote button when near them.
It’shard to know if a guest is reacting to you or a furnishingsince it uses the same animation, sodon’t be afraid to emote more than once.
You cangive a guest one present each day, be it a souvenir or something else from the island. However, it’s worth keeping in mindif the guest will benefit from itor if it will be wasted on them. If the guest has already gotten the pink emoji, the highest approval they can, thenit’s not worth it to give them a present.
