To survive these perilous conditions, you will needpowerful weapons that are capableof saving you in critical situations. However, as you begin your journey without weapons, you will have to find and craft them as soon as possible.
Among these weapons is the Wailing Blade - a legendary melee weapon which you don’t need to craft. Instead, it can be found while exploring the map. Nevertheless, the Blade is enclosed in a chest located in a cave that is guarded by some enemies.
How To Get Wailing Blade
The Wailing Blade is one of the best weapons to have in your arsenal in the early stages of the game. This blade hasbase damage of 14,which can beincreased to 22by upgrading it. Nevertheless, to get the Wailing Blade, you will need tovisit a cave calledScavenger Stash,which is protected by Scavengers.
Thankfully, the cave is located in an early game area which you can access in two different ways.
How To Navigate Through Scavenger Stash
This cave is guarded by Scavengers who have also set a few traps at the entrance. You canavoid these traps by carefully movingand taking on the Scavengers. Alternatively,if you do not want to face Scavengers directly, equip a ranged weapon and eliminate them from a distance, one by one.
Enter the cave after clearing the enemies and ensuring the entrance is free from traps. Inside,you’ll find a chest placed on a wooden table. Open the chest toobtain the Wailing Blade. In the process, you can also look around as various other resources like Metal Scraps, Animal Fur, and Lockpicks can be found nearby.
