Palworldoffers tools to help you with tasks, such as cutting down trees, mining, and catching Pals. TheMeat Cleaveris a special item that lets you butcher your Pals, which kills them and turns them into meat. Doing so can let you make new meals, but how do you make and use a Meat Cleaver?
Even though you unlock it at Player Level 12, you have multiple steps to follow to craft it. After you make the Meat Cleaver, it’s not clear how to use it on Pals. As you go through this guide, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the Meat Cleaver and how to use it to help you.
How To Make A Meat Cleaver
Before you can create a Meat Cleaver, you need to build aPrimitive Furnaceand High Quality Workbench.Furnaces require 20 Wood, 50 Stone, and threeFlame Organswhile aHigh Quality Workbench requires 15Ingots, 50 Wood, and ten Nails.
Where To Get It
Wood
you’re able to find it on the ground or bybreaking down trees.
On the ground and bymining rock deposits.
When you catch or defeat certain fire Pals, like Foxparks.
Nails
Made from aFurnace with an Ingot.
You can build the Furnace and High Quality Workbenchby opening the Build menu, as shown in the bottom left corner. They’re both under theProduction tab, so select them and place them on the ground.
As for aMeat Cleaver, you’ll needfive Ingots, 20 Wood, and five Stone. Once you have the items, go to theHigh Quality Workbench, select the Meat Cleaver, and make it.
How To Use A Meat Cleaver
After equipping the Meat Cleaver, you need toput the Pal you want to butcher into your Party. You can do so by going to your Base, accessing the middle console, and opening the Pal Management menu to add them to the group.
Once they’re in your party, you need tofollow a few steps to butcher them.
ThePal will be permanently removed from the game, and you’ll gain some materials, such as meat or eggs.
Youcan’t butcher Pals that are assigned to your base. You can butcher a Pal in your party while inside your base boundaries.
