Defeating the boss or capturing it gives you an equal chance to receive the Legendary Crossbow weapon schematic in the game.You need this schematic to craft the Legendary variant,but the drop chance is rare: only three to five percent.

Lastly, theAncient Civilization Parts exclusively drop from the Open-World bosses and Dungeon Bosses. The Open-World bosses are much easier to defeat and do not waste a lot of time when you compare it to exploring a Dungeon and defeating one boss at the very end of it.
