Blizzard Entertainment has a long history of collaborating events and rewards within its games. As Hearthstone is celebrating its 10th anniversary, even players inWorld of Warcraftget some exclusive collectible goodies. The event lets World of Warcraft players play its very own version of Hearthstone inside World of Warcraft itself.
Apart from playing Hearthstone, limited-time portal events are popping up where you can earn mounts such as the Compass Rose. There are also other rewards that drop outside of World of Warcraft, such as the Fiery Hearthsteed, and this guide will cover everything you can uncover in this limited-time event.
How To Get The Compass Rose Mount
First things first,events are popping out in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Valdrakken. Each area will have a Hearthstone event where there will be an NPC giving you a quest to play some cards in a Hearthstone game and a Hearthstone board in the middle where you can battle other players.
Apart from the quest,there are signs of a portal emerging from time to time. These portals will spawn creatures from the Hearthstone game anddrop incredible goodies. Here’s a list of the items that can drop from the monsters coming out of the portal:
The drop rates are extremely lowconsidering it is alimited-time event running from March 11 to March 22, but on the bright side,the portal event runs once every hour until the event is over.
The creatures are quite hard to eliminate if you are alone and don’t have some decent gear, but many players are trying to farm for the Compass Rose,so the enemies will almost drop instantly if there are several players in the event.
The enemies that spawn from the portal are iconic cards from the Hearthstone game, like Dr. Boom and the Chillwind Yeti.
After running about three premade groups, there are only two to four players out of 40 getting the Compass Rose mount in every portal event.
Hearthstone Event Locations For Orgrimmar, Stormwind, And Valdrakken
Orgrimmar
TheOrgrimmarHearthstone event is positionedoutside the main city, between the shoregoing to the Dragon Isles and the entrance of the Orgrimmar main city.
Stormwind
TheStormwindHearthstone event is positionednear the port and above the Cathedral Square.
Valdrakken
TheValdrakkenHearthstone event is locatedbelow the Seat of Aspects and beside the Emerald Enclave.
You have to fly a bit to reach the platform. Valdrakken will have most of the active player base as it is the main city of the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion.
How To Get The Fiery Hearthsteed
The Fiery Heartsteed looks like a variation of the original Hearthsteed mount. To acquire the Hearthsteed,you simply need to log into Hearthstone.
If you are a new player, you must at least finish the tutorial section to get the mount.
Once you have opened Hearthstone and reached the main menu, you can exit the game and go back to World of Warcraft. Go to yourmount journalby pressingShift + Pand look for anunwrapped present. It should be the first on the list and labeled as ‘New.’
If you didn’t receive it,you should restart World of Warcraft and try again. Upon trying the method for the first time, World of Warcraft and Hearthstone were both open, so the mount didn’t show up immediately.
If you haven’t acquired the Hearthsteed mount, you’re able to still get it by winning at least three games in Hearthstone.
