InFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Materia plays a crucial role as it helps boost your party’s stats and grants them new skills and spells for combat. Each type of Materia is equally important for your characters, and it’s essential to have a variety of them. Sometimes, you’ll even need to change them depending on the specific fight you’re preparing for.
There are four types of Materia distinguished by their colors. Green Materia provides new offensive and defensive spells, blue Materia acts as a support and can be linked to other Materia for enhanced bonuses, purple Materia offers stat boosts and passive effects, while yellow Materia grants additional abilities to your characters.
