There’s a new skill to max out for completionists, and plenty of beautiful new Buy Mode and CAS items.

How To Get A Crystal Tree
In order to get a Crystal Tree for your lot, you need toplant a Seed-Shaped Gemstone and grow it for seven in-game days. you may get the Seed-Shaped Gemstone bycutting a gemat the new All-In-One Gemology Table By Humprey, Inc. that comes with the pack.
In order to unlock the ability to cut this gem,you’ll need to reach at least level 3 in the Gemology Skill.Start out by purchasing the Gemology Table, which can be found in Buy Mode under Activities and Skills > Creative for 650 Simoleons. Once you’ve got it placed, there are three interactions you can use to build Gemology Skill:
Continue to design jewelry and cut gemstones at the table until you’ve reached level 3. You can improve how quickly you gain skill byhaving your Sim in a Focused mood. This can be done easily by purchasing and drinking a Focused Potion from the Rewards Store for 200 Satisfaction Points.
You can also increase your Sim’s Gemology Skill by reading the designated skill books you can purchase. It’s a great way to increase your skill level while also keeping your Sim’s comfort level high.
How To Get Seed-Shaped Gemstone
Once you’ve reached level 3 in Gemology, head back to the Gemology Table and selectCut Gemstone. Now, you’ll have the option tochoose the Seed-Shape Gemstone under Select Design. This is only available as an option once you’ve reached the right level, so if your Sim isn’t Gemology level 3, this design won’t appear.
Luckily, you can use any crystal to cut this gemstone.It’s best to use a crystal you already own, or a common crystalso you don’t have to spend tons of Simoleons to get it.
Now, your Sim will begin to cut the Seed-Shaped Gemstone. It will take a few in-game hours to finish up, butyou can take breaks without losing progress on the gemstoneby canceling the action. Make sure to keep your Sim’s needs filled up or else you’ll have a big problem on your hands.
How To Grow The Seed Into Crystal Tree
Now that you have the Seed-Shaped Gemstone, pick up the item andplace it anywhere outsideon the ground. You can then select the gemstone, and choose toPlantit. Your Sim will then go and plant the seed in the ground, and you’ll have the beginnings of the Crystal Tree.
The Crystal Tree will not be available immediately, becauseit takes seven in-game days to grow. You’ll want to continue tokeep up maintenance on it,by watering it and using fertilizer on the sprout. The better you take care of it, the higher quality the Crystal Tree will be.
So long as your Sim has taken good care of it, after the seven days are up,you now have a fully grown Crystal Treeto reap the benefits of.
Luckily, like all other plants, there is no limit to how many Crystal Trees you can have. As long as the tree fits in the space on the lot, you can have a whole forest full of them. If your Sim makes jewelry for a living,this is an amazing way to farm Simoleons.
How To Harvest The Crystal Tree
Once the Crystal Tree is fully grown,you’ll be able to harvest various crystals from itevery day, just like you would for any other harvestable plant. The higher quality the tree is, the rarer crystals you can get from it. At the highest quality, Perfect, you canharvest rare and uncommon crystals daily.The Crystal Tree will grow more crystals for your Sim to harvesteach morning at around 9 AM.
Simply click on the Crystal Tree, andyou can choose to either to harvest crystals or sell the crystals. If your Sim is getting into the business of making and selling jewelry, the Crystal Tree is a huge asset to have in their collection. It will make it much cheaper to make new jewelry and gemstones because you won’t have to pay for crystals.
