Puzzles and mysteries are the bread and butter of exploration inGenshin Impact, and this is especially true in Chenyu Vale. The newest Chenyu Vale has a lot of mysterious puzzles for the players to figure out on their own, and one of them is finding the locks to “Strange keys”.
Strange Keys are scattered across many places in Chenyu Vale and one Strange Key is required to release a Carefree Simulacra that is locked and surrounded by treasure hoarders in the Southern Mt.Mingyuan region. By releasing the Carefree Simulacra, players can expect to receive an Exquisite chest and Precious chest reward.
How To Find The Strange Key
The Strange Key can be found close to the shores of the South of Mt.Mingyuanor by going down the cliff that has the locked Carefree Simulacra. After arriving at the spot,you must defeat a group of treasure hoarders to find a glowing spoton the ground that will provide you with a “Strange Key.”
The treasure hoarders have higher HPs than normal treasure hoarderseven though their health bar is shown as half. For most players, this fight wouldn’t be a problem, so if you are having trouble defeating the “boss” treasure hoarder “Who Am I?",use a team that can freeze enemies.
How To Release The Carefree Simulacra
Go up the cliff by using the Simulcra’s nearby that provides you with a jumping buff, and then kill all the treasure hoarders in the camp and head towards the cage to release the Carefree Simulacra.There will also be an Exquisite chest on the cliff, and it will be unlocked after you defeat all the treasure hoarders and by going near it.
After getting the Carefree Simulacra,go straight ahead to see a path. Follow the path, up the ladder and you’re able to see a small green box, so place the Carefree Simulacra there to receive a Precious chest reward.
