With ten vocations available inDragon’s Dogma 2, there’s ample room for experimentation and replayability if you’re aiming to fully experience the game. Each vocation offers a unique playstyle, whether it’s focused on melee, ranged, or magic combat. The game accommodates all of these styles.
Like with every other vocation, unlocking their ultimate skill isn’t always straightforward. You won’t always know what to do or who to seek out to obtain them. You’ll need to locate their master first and impress them to earn their trust and access their advanced teachings.
How To Obtain The Archer-Maister’s Approval And Get The Ultimate Thief Skill
First, you’ll need tolocate an elf named Glyndwrafter reaching Vernworth. He can be foundnear Roderick’s Smithy. Interact with him to trigger a series of elf-related quests, beginning with theGift of The Bow.
For the Gift Of The Bow quest,purchase a bow from the nearby smithyand give it to Glyndwr, then meet him at his residence. After some time, you’ll find Glyndwr in the same location, asking you to attend his archery trial.

Once you’ve completed both quests,return to theandlocate Taliesin in his room on the left side of the large tree in the center. Speak to him, and he’ll provide you with theHunter’s Secret.
Using this tome will grant you access to theHeavenly Shot ultimate skill for the Archer vocation.
