InEnshrouded, most of the great gear sets are crafted because you rarely see the ones you need for your character from chests and overworld drops. The gear pieces take various materials to craft, but there is a bit of a trend in what kind of pieces need which kinds of resources. For dexterity-type builds like a ranger or an assassin, you’ll need some Scales to craft some of their best gear sets.
If you want some of these gear sets, you’ll need to farm several Scales to craft each piece of equipment. On the bright side, other classes have no use for Scales so you don’t even have to farm a lot of them once you craft your pieces. Here’s the best way you can get Scales and possibly get everything you need in under a minute.

Where Do Scales Drop?
Scales drop from enemies near the Kindlewastes, specifically the Sand Diggers (or the armadillo-like creature) and the Scorpions. In the image above, you can circle the whole area and look for Scorpions and Sand Diggers while avoiding some of the other creatures like drakes and bats.
While Scorpions drop a few pieces of Scales each,Sand Diggers drop almost twice the number of Scales.
The drakes roaming around the desert will actually attack the Sand Diggers.In most cases, the drakes will win the fight, so you have to check if there are any dead Sand Diggers, so you can have free loot.
This is a good and a bad thing. You might have trouble looking for Sand Diggers because the drakes already got to them all, but if you look harder, you might just find the carcass for some easy Scales loot.
How To Fight Scorpions And Sand Diggers
Fighting Scorpions is easy; justuse a normal hit-and-run tactic until you defeat them. You need to avoid their attack as they apply poison. Without any healing or constitution buffs, the poison can easily one-shot you.
It is best to avoid getting hit at all times or have some potionsin case of an emergency.
you may alsoswap out your shield for a wardwith poison resistance to increase your survivability even more. If you ever fight more than one Scorpion at a time, you can use a ranged weapon and kite them away since they are quite slow.
For Sand Diggers, they are extremely slow and passive. If you go near them,they won’t attack you unless they are provoked with an attack. When they do start attacking you, they will walk towards you like a turtle andsmash you for more damage than you can ever imagine.
The strategy here is to use a ranged weapon, preferably a bow with Wooden Arrows. The Sand Diggers are extremely slow, so you can run away and hit them seven or eight times before they even reach you.
Don’t use the auto-target or auto-lock feature when using the bow. Aim manually and try to hit their tiny legs. You will do little to no damage if you start hitting their massive shell.
If you stop hitting the Sand Diggers, they’ll remain passive and stop chasing you after a few seconds. Keep this in mind when you are trying to kite because you might suddenly lose sight of them if you run too far.

These are some of thebest sets you can get for increasing your ranged damage, critical strike, backstabbing, stamina regeneration, and other useful dexterity-type buffsfor your character. Apart from Scales, these setsuse a ton of Padding, so make sure you craft these beforehand since it is way harder than farming Scales.
