Each region boasts unique characteristics, allowing you to discover and explore at your leisure. Like any open-world game, you may expect to scavenge materials, craft equipment, and explore to acquire new items and materials for your characters.
One of the many materials available in the game is Planet’s Favor. Initially, it’s challenging to obtain, and the game doesn’t provide clear guidance on how or where to find it. That’s why we’ve created this guide to help you acquire Planet’s Favor.

How To Craft Planet’s Favor
Before you’re able to unlock the Planet’s Favor recipe from the Item Transmuter,you first need to reach the Junon region, which is the second region in the game.
Here, you’ll need tocomplete two of the Expedition Intel, Lifesprings, to unlock the Excavation Intel: The Scars of War.
There are a total of four Lifesprings, butyou only need to complete two of them to reveal the location of the Excavation Intel.
While you can reveal the locations of the Lifesprings using the Remnawave Towers, these Lifesprings are situated: one in thenorthwest, one in thenortheast, one in thesouth, and the last one in thesoutheast.
Once you’ve obtained the Excavation location,which is located southwest, head there anduse your Chocobo to dig at three sites. In one of these sites,you’ll unlock the recipe for crafting the Planet’s Favor.
Finally, return to the Item Transmuter menu, where you’ll be able tocraft the Planet’s Favor using five Sage and three Planet’s Blessing.
These are common materials that can easily be found in the open world.
Where To Buy Planet’s Favor
If you don’t want to go through the trouble of crafting Planet’s Favor every time you need it, you can actuallypurchase it from the merchants at the Chocobo Ranchesafter you reachthe Corel region.
Simply visit a Chocobo Ranch in any region andinteract with its merchant, and you’ll be able to buyPlanet’s Favor for just 100 gil.
Althoughyou can still find Planet’s Favor randomly in the open world, with the Junon region offering the highest spawn chances, these two methods are more reliable for maintaining a constant stock of this material.
