However, many players are encountering an issue that prevents them from getting past the main title screen. This guide breaks down how you can get past the Server capacity error in the game.
What Is The Server Capacity Error?
The"Server at capacity. Please try again later" errorhas become a common sight in the game, especially when peak concurrent players are playing the game. Thisstops divers from getting past the main title screenand puts them in a long queue without a timeframe.
How To Skip The Server Capacity Queue
While the developers are working on a permanent fix to let every diver get into the game as soon as they launch it, there is a temporary fix for now.We have tested this method, which allows skipping the Server capacity queue, and it works every time.
The only catch is that you need at least one friend online on your PlayStation 5 or PC Steam and be in the lobby for this fix to work. This method also works while your friend is playing a mission but has at least one free slot available in the squad.
OnPC Steam, clicking “Friends & Chat"will open up a pop-up window for available friends playing the game.When you see anyone playing the game, clicking on the drop-down button near their ID will reveal aprompt called “Join/Play.” Clicking it will start your Helldivers 2 application andwill take you directly into the lobbyright after the introduction cutscene of the game.
This works thesame way on PlayStation 5. Going to the friends list will reveal if anyone is available and playing the game. Selecting the option to join their game will take you directly from PlayStation 5’s home screen to the game’s lobby directly.
If you do not have active friendsplaying the game,you have no alternate way to skip the Server capacity queue issueexcept waiting for the game to let you in. This could take a while, and potentially, the wait time lasts from 15 minutes to one hour or more, which is a lot of downtime to wait at the title screen.
Some players have also reported that fully closing down the game and relaunching it might help in getting past this bug.
