Iron Ore is one of the most important endgame resources inEnshrouded. Just finding a few Iron Ores could set your character up with one of the best gear, weapons, and tools available in the game. However, Iron Ore is quite hard to find, especially since it spawns only in high-level areas.
While there are a few spots that have some Iron Ore, there’s always one that’s going to be the best. Here’s the best location where you can find these Iron Ores and craft yourself some of the best gear sets you can have in the game!

Iron Ore Locations
There’s actually a quest called Hearts of Iron, where the game informs you of a spot for farming Iron Ore. When you have the quest, you’ll see a marker pointing to Ridgeback Mine, the same as how the game taught you where to find Salt.However, this spot isn’t the best as there are a few enemies that roam around.
There are other spots, such as the enshrouded area inside a cave to the northeast of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire and the Cave Passages near Kindlewastes, which are somewhat better than Ridgeback Mine.
The Best Iron Ore Farming Location
The Cave Passage between Nomad Highlands andEast Lapisor way north of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire(there are two Cave Passages near the Kindlewastes; go for the one further up north) should contain a ton of Iron Ore nodes. The reason why this is the best farming location is that there are no enemies nearby, and you get more resources other than just Iron Ore.
This Cave Passage contains other useful resources such as Luminous Growth, Sulfur, and Sand. Base builders absolutely love Luminous Growth since it allows them to use blocks that are well-lit or self-glowing. You don’t need to illuminate your base if you have these. Sulfur is also great for crafting, as well as Sand.
The area is also the desert so you may farm other resources such asYucca Fruits,Feathers, and more.
The Cave Passage is quite far from any Ancient Spire, so it is best toset up a Flame Altarfor a closer fast travel point for these resources.
Before going on a mining adventure, you may reset your skill points and grab skills in the middle of the skill tree, mainlyMason, Quality Gear, and Miner. Allocating all these skills will almost triple your output.
What Are Iron Ores Used For?

You shouldprioritize upgrading your Iron Pickaxe and Iron Axeso you can farm these resources much more efficiently. Apart from the tools, you can finally get endgame tier sets such as the Solider, Warden, and Warlock set.
The Huge Chest gives a lot of quality-of-life help in managing resources in your base, especially if you turn it into a magical one. For spellcasters or mages, the Eternal Light Burst spell is fun to use, and it is counted as an unlimited-use spell.
