Your first ship upgrade inSkull and Bonesis a major step up from the small Dhow used in the opening acts. While the main quest helps guide you through the process of obtaining a better ship, future upgrades are up to you. Even after getting the proper blueprints, you’ll also need to hunt down plenty of materials to properly equip your ships.
Several blueprints used for crafting Ship weapons, armor, and furniture all require Casting Sand. This item is a Specialized Material that can be easily obtained by looting ships on Trade Routes. You can also purchase Casting Sand from specific vendors if you’ve got the Silver.
