InDragon’s Dogma 2, the more you explore, the more you’ll uncover, whether it’s new enemies, equipment, or materials for upgrading your weapons. Many of these items come from enemy drops, while others can be found or purchased from in-game shops.
But sometimes, tracking down specific materials for upgrading your favorite gear can be a real challenge, especially since the game doesn’t provide clear directions on where to find them. If you’re on the hunt for Boltscales to enhance your gear, you’ll need to target specific types of enemies. This guide is here to help you pinpoint the enemies they drop it and their location.
How To Get Boltscales
Boltscalesare drops from the lightning saurian enemies, and at the time of writing this article, we’ve only managed to find them in theDarkhorde Cave in Vermund. There are two ways to reach this cave: either from Vernworth or Sacred Arbor.
If you’re starting fromVernworth,head northuntil you reach the river, thengo west to find the cave. If you’re already atSacred Arbor,simply head south, and you’ll come across it.
You’ll spot a camp near the cave, indicating the location.
Inside the cave, you’ll encounter multiple lightning saurians.Simply defeat them, andthey’ll drop Boltscales, and luckily, these are not a rare drop.
If you want to farm more,you can use the nearby campsite and rest for a few daysuntil the enemies respawn.
Alternatively, you canreturn to Sacred Arbor, rest there, and then head back to the cave to defeat more lightning saurians and collect additional Boltscales.
