Pacific Drivehas a lot of upgrades to unlock through crafting blueprints. Throughout the game, you’ll constantly improve your tools, car, and Oppy’s Auto Shop. There’s nothing like seeing the difference between where you were at the beginning of the game and where you are now with all the upgrades you’ve unlocked.
Thankfully, in Pacific Drive, upgrades are useful, fun, and enhance your quality of life in-game. No convoluted system(s) stop you from understanding and getting those blueprints. You’ll be enhancing your car, character, and Oppy’s Auto Shop in no time. So, here’s how to get upgrades and what blueprints have to do with them.

Craft Blueprints From The Fabrication Station
This is where almost all of your upgrades will come from: the Fabrication Station. This machine is your best friend. Be nice to it, treat it well, and it will treat you well in return. This station allows you to create blueprints for almost everything, but not your character’s clothes.
You upgrade your character’s clothes through the Outfitting Station. you’re able to unlock this station bycrafting a blueprint for it from the Fabrication Station.

You’ll unlock this station as soon as you get to Oppy’s Auto Shop. To craft your choice of blueprint, you’ll need different crafting materials and kLIM.kLIM is energy and the important piece to focus on. In the game, there’sStable Energy, Unstable Energy, and Corrupted Energy. Depending on the tier of upgrade you’re looking to obtain, you’ll need more energy.
In the screenshot above, you’ll see what it looks like to use the Fabrication Station. There are numerous categories you can sift through, which will give you different upgrade trees that appear on the screen. If you want one of the upgrades, you’ll need to craft a blueprint for it. Once you do, it’ll pop out of a pneumatic tube next to the machine.
Interact with the blueprint, and it will forever be in your character’s memory.Upgrades for tools or car parts will automatically appear in the list of things you can craft at the Workbench.
Upgrades, such as additions or improvements to Oppy’s Auto Shop, won’t give you a blueprint but a massive tube of parts. Once you pick it up, the game will direct you to where you can place it.It will automatically build the upgrade for you.
Some of the mid-game upgrades will need you to have unlocked the Advanced Workbench.
