One of the great things about playingStardew Valleyis all the new equipment you gain the more you level up your skills. These devices allow you to make things like mayonnaise, metal bars, coal, slime, bait, and more. With the introduction of the Mastery System, there are a handful of new pieces of equipment that you could potentially get to make your gameplay even more fun.
One of these items is the Anvil, which you unlock the recipe for once Combat Mastery is claimed. If you’re wondering exactly what the Anvil is, how to build it, and how to use it, then go no further! We’ve got you covered right here.

How To Get The Anvil
In order to get the Anvil, you must first gain access to theSkill Mastery Systemby getting all of your skills to level ten, then earn enough Mastery Stars (by gaining experience) toclaim Combat Mastery.
The Anvil, which requires50Iron Barsto build, can be used to randomize the stats of trinkets in hopes of getting a stronger effect.

What Are Trinkets?
Trinkets are anew equippable itemintroduced in the update that, when equipped, can give youunique benefits. Much like the Anvil, these are not unlocked for youuntil you claim Combat Mastery.
You’ll now not only unlock the equipment slot for them, but you’re able to nowobtain trinkets by adventuringand defeating monsters in both the mines and in the Skull Cavern. They can also bepurchased from some vendors.

There are two trinkets that can not be re-rolled on the Anvil:The Basilisk Paw and the Magic Hair Gel.
How To Use The Anvil
The primary use of the Anvil is torandomize the statson a particular trinket in hopes ofgetting better statsthan it already has. To do this, put the trinket you want in your hand andclick on the Anvil. A few seconds later, the new trinket will be available. Then, go into your inventory to see what thenew stats are.
Each time you use the Anvil to re-roll a trinket’s stats it willcost you threeIridium Bars, so verify you have plenty on hand.
Anytime you re-roll, there is the chance for the stats toget weaker instead of stronger. For instance, the Ice Rod you have shoots an orb of ice every three seconds, freezing any enemies in its path for four seconds. Re-rolling the statscould lower those numbers as well as increase them.
