The Yo-kai Watch collaboration event has returned toFinal Fantasy 14, so minion hunters, glamour-weapon enthusiasts, and people who love a few quirky mounts can all rejoice. For this new iteration, there’s also a brand new Framer’s Kit to earn, too, that you can apply to your character portrait!
This event runs from today until the launch of Patch .70, though the date and time are subject to change. Ensure you complete the event before that time and earn all the rewards you want. Any medals earned in previous iterations of this event can still be used in this one.
How To Start The Yo-kai Watch Event
Speak to thePoor-heeled Youthat(X:9.2, Y:9.1)inUl’dah - Steps of Naldto start the quest’A Complete Game Changer'.
You must be at least Level 15 to start this quest and have completed one of the following Main Scenario Quests: ‘The Gridanian Envoy’, ‘The Lominsan Envoy’, and ‘The Ul’dahn Envoy’.
Next, head to theGold Saucerand speak to theWandering Executiveat(X:5.2, Y:6.9).
Afterwards, head toBentbranch Meadowsin the Central Shroud and speak to the following NPCs:
Next, head to(X:15.1, Y:25.1)and interact with theAncient Stone Vessel.
After the cutscene, return to theWandering Executiveat(X:5.2, Y:6.9)in the Gold Saucer to complete the quest.

How Do I Get The Yo-kai Minions And Weapons?
You can speak toNohiin theGold Saucerat(X:5.2, Y:6.9)tospend Yo-kai Medalsyou have earned on minions, weapons, and the Framer’s kit.
Yo-kai Minions
Thefirst minion you purchase only costs one Medal, butsubsequent minions cost three Medals each, meaning for all 17 minions you needa total of 49 Medals.

Yo-kai Weapons
Yourfirst weapon will cost five Legendary Medals, witheach subsequent weapon costing ten Legendary Medals each. This means to collect all 17 (as the sword and shield come bundled together) you’ll needa total of 165 Legendary Medals.

Dancer
You get an achievement for each new Yo-kai minion and weapon you obtain.
How Do I Earn Yo-kai Medals?
You can view the Medallium at any time from the Collection menu or Minion guide.
Yo-kai Medals
You canearn medals by completing FATEs with a Silver or better rating whilst having the Yo-kai Watch equippedon your character.
These normal Yo-kai Medals can be earned in the following areas:
Legendary Yo-kai Medals
Legendary Medalshave a lower drop rateand will only be given in FATEswhile you also have the Yo-kai minion of the medal in question accompanyingyou.
That means you have to first earn the Yo-kai minion you want before you can collect its related weapon.

How Do I Get The Mounts And Framer’s Kit?
Mounts
There are three mounts to be obtained from this event, but the game doesn’t necessarily do a great job of explaining how to get them to you as they are all achievement rewards.
Whisper-go
You get the Whisper-go Key as the reward for unlocking the ‘You Must Needs Befriend Them All I’ achievement for collecting 13 Yo-kai minions.
Whisper A-go-go
You get the Whisper A-go-go Key as the reward for unlocking the ‘More Inventory Slots, Please I’ achievement for collecting 13 Yo-kai weapons.
Jibanyan Couch
You get the Jibanyan Couch Medal for unlocking the ‘More Inventory Slots, Please II’ achievement by collecting all 17 Yo-kai weapons (remember, the sword and shield pair count as one).
Framer’s Kit
You mustbefriend all Yo-kai(that means to get every minion) beforeNohiin theGold Saucerat(X:5.2, Y:6.9)will sell you the Framer’s Kit for20,000 MGP.you may then apply Yo-kai themed elements to your portrait andAdventurer Plate.
