Having a pet that follows you around and keeps you company adds a touch of life and warmth to the overall charm ofStardew Valley. While pets don’t directly contribute to the farm, the sight of these adorable creatures wandering around or napping in sunny spots is sure to bring joy.
Stardew Valley’s Update 1.6 takes things up a notch by introducing pet furniture and new pet bowls to the game. Even though the furniture items are not functional, you can still use them to create a cozy spacefor your pet. How To Get A Pet Bowl
Pet Bowls serve as a designated home for your pets, ensuring that your adorable companions are well cared for. Each Pet Bowl placed on the farm allows you to adopt one new pet.
Pet Bowls can be purchased fromRobin’s Carpenter Shopfor5,000 g and 25Hardwoodeach. Since they are prefabricated items, Pet Bowls spawn on the farm immediately after you purchase them.

Pet Bowls are available in three unique styles:Wood, Stone, and Rustic. you may change their styles via the small house icon in the bottom-right corner of the item’s description.
Similar to other farm structures, you can evenchange the location of a Pet Bowl. To do so, you simply interact with Robin and ask her to move them to a new spot. The process is instant but willcost you some Gold.
With the 1.6 Update, the pet’s name is displayed in a pop-up bubble if you interact with their designated Bowl.
How To Buy Pet Furniture
The newly introduced Pet Furniture items can bepurchased from Marnieat her Ranch. Marnie’s Ranch is open from9 AM to 4 PMevery dayexcept Mondays and Tuesdays.
Simply approach Marnie when she is behind the counter and interact with her to access her shop. The table below contains a list of all the pet furniture items you can purchase from Marnie.
