While playingSkull And Bones, you’ll spend most of your time sailing the seas and plundering everything on your path to get free loot. However, as you progress in the game, you’ll encounter higher-level ships that can be much harder to defeat, especially if you’re still on a basic ship yourself.
If you want to have a chance against these ships, you’ll have to build a better vessel for yourself, and one of the best vessels you can find during the mid-game is the Sloop. Here’s how you can easily find its blueprint.

How To Buy Sloop Blueprint (Sunken Goldmine)
If you hover over to the codex and find the entry for Sloop, you’ll see that it asks you to head over to the Sunken Goldmine outpost to get it. However, if you’re still starting out in the game, you likely won’t have this outpost uncovered. To get to this outpost, start by heading to the west from Sainte-Anne and cross the giant island structure in Red Isles.
Keep going west and you’ll eventually uncover the Poacher’s Cache outpost a little higher on the map than Sainte-Anne itself. You’llalso find the Bandari settlement to the left of this outpost. Take the river beside this settlement and keep going west until it opens up again, and the Sunken Goldmine outpost will be on your right.
You can find theUngwana Merchant selling Sloop blueprintas soon as you disembark on this outpost.
However, you’ll have tospend a whopping 4950 Silverif you want to buy this item.
Once acquired, you can build yourself a sloop by taking the following materials to the shipbuilder in Sainte-Anne:
You can find all thematerials required to build a Sloop in the Ungwana territoryon the northwest side of the map.
How To Get Sloop Blueprint For Free
If you can be a little bit more patient, you can get the Sloop Blueprint completely free of cost in Skull And Bones. To do this, however, you’llhave to progress in the main story with Scurlockquite a bit. After finishing a bunch of main quests, you’ll eventually stumble upon a quest called The Devil’s Gambit, and this will be given to you by the guards outside Scurlock’s office.
In this contract, you’ll have to dress as Scurlock andtake his ship to plunder a major fort called Fort du Lys. This fort is quite high-level, but you’re able to easily plunder it since Scurlock’s ship is overpowered. Finish the plundering process up until the chest marked with the main quest icon and then return to your ship. Talk with the guards and then with Scurlock to receive the blueprint.
If you already own the Sloop blueprint by the end of this quest, you’ll get some of its value back in Silver.
