Chapter 5, Season 2 ofFortnite, called Myths & Mortals, brought with it many items from Greek Mythology that can be used for either movement or battle. One such item is the Wings of Icarus, which provides you with powerful movement and a superior advantage over other enemy players.
In the legend of Icarus, the wings were created by his father, Daedalus, as a way to escape their imprisonment. In the same way, the Wings of Icarus allow you to escape danger easily, while also traveling long distances across Fortnite Island. Where Can You Find The Wings Of Icarus?
In one of the newKickstart Quests, you’ll need to use theWings of Icarus Dive Bomb attackon an opponent for 10,000 XP. But in order to do that, you’ll first need to find this item.
Wings of Icarus is anEpic (purple) Rarity itemand can be quite easy to find, as you should be able to get one in any number of ways.
How Do You Use The Wings Of Icarus?
Now that you know how to get the wings, how do you use them? The Wings of Icarus have afew controls to figure out, and it can take some time to get used to them.
This is not a passive item, you have to select the wings in yourhotbar in order to use them. Once you do that, just press yourtrigger button(whichever button or key you use to shoot). This will initiallylaunch you into the air.
The Wings of Icarus starts off at acharge of 300. This number rapidly depletes over time, anddoesn’t recharge. Also, you may only be in the air at one timefor a total of 100 charges. Once the 100 charges are used up, you’ll glide down to the ground, and there will be afive-second cooldownbefore you can use the wings again.
When you use up all 300 charges, you won’t fall to your death like Icarus did. You’ll insteadglide to the ground. Once you land, the item will vanish from your inventory.

Gives you ashort boost forward, but uses up charges faster.

Use this to fly higher, but keep in mind that the higher you fly thefaster the charges deplete.
Right Mouse Button
ZL
This barrel attack can make alarge impactamong a group of opponents, dealing significant damage.
