While the major event onFortnite’s island might be its new Greek visitors, it also seems that an organization that goes by ‘Shadow’ is hard at work training you with new gear and vehicles. When you accept and complete these missions, you will be rewarded with Gold Bars or better gear to help improve your chances in matches.
In addition to earning Gold, you’ll also be better equipped in the immediate match thanks to the new vehicle or supply drops that Shadow can Rift in at will. While the purpose of these briefings is unclear, their use in your matches can help you come out the victor.

Shadow Briefings, Explained
There arenew types of missions called Shadow Briefingsin Fortnite that work similarly to the Bounty Boards. Youaccept the missionand then arift will appear that brings whatever your objective is, Bounty excluded, marking it on your map.
Otherplayers will be able to hear the Riftandsee the supply dropmarker on the map. You’ll have to be quick to get it before someone else does.

Depending on which mission you select, you’ll either need toget to the supply drop, drive a certain distance, dig up chests, orhunt down an enemyin the provided time limit to earn the reward. You’lllose out on the benefitsif you don’t complete the specified objective or get the reward before someone else.
When close, you can see the symbol for which type of missionis available through walls andthe ‘Job Board’ icon with a magnifying glasswill show on your mini-map.

There aremany Shadow Briefingsthat can spawn across Fortnite’s island, but it seems as ifsome spawns aren’t always in the same place. Due to this, it’shard to create a comprehensive listof all the locations, since they either disappear when used or just don’t spawn in some matches.
Supply Drop Shadow Briefings
When you accept the supply drop briefing, you’ll immediately get a visual notificationon your HUD showing you where it will spawn. Since this is usually a good distance away, you shouldbegin heading that way immediately. Similar to other supply drops, otherplayers can see it on their mini-maps.
Unlike the Vehicle Shadow Briefing, youwon’t get any Gold Bars for completingthis mission, with the supply drop serving as the reward. That being said, you’re able to get weapons of up to Epic rarity, at least, and the supply drop may contain Bars.

You canfind Supply Drop Shadow Briefings at and around major POIslike:
