What Are Memory Shards?

Upon embarking on your journey in the game,you will encounter Faribanear the first Wak-Wak Tree located in the Lower City. Fariba graciously gives you theEye of Wanderer, an invaluable tool that allows you to unveil the expansive map of all the regions you traverse within Mount Qaf.

Given the vastness and intricacies of the game’s numerous regions, it’s not uncommon to find oneself grappling with the challenge of retainingcrucial information. Consider this scenario: you stumble upon a tantalizing Xerxes Coin, yet lack the requisite ability to procure it at that precise moment.

Memory shards offer a practical mechanism tomark specific pointsof interest on your map by capturing a screenshot of the selected location. However, it’s important to note that each screenshot you captureconsumes one Memory. Consequently, you’re faced with a decision: either delete older screenshots to make room for new ones or amassadditional Memory Shardsto accommodate your mapping needs.

In the vast expanse of the game, you’ll encounter opportunities to collect atotal of five Memory Shards. Should you manage to gather all of them, you’ll be empowered to archive a grand total of25 precious memories.

Head to theleft border of Hyrcanian Forestand reach Sunken Harbor from there. Upon arrival, descend to a series of wooden platforms. Traverse left to find a wider platform, leading to atorch-lit roomwith a treasure chest containing a Memory Shard.

Sargon Standing Near A Chest In The Depths

Start from the Wak-Wak Tree located at the top left corner of theclaw-marked areaon your map. Continue left until you reach a wooden platform. Climb onto the wooden platform and then use the handholds on the wall to climb up to the right. From there, you need to go to the left. Perform a wall jump and useRush of the Simurghto reach the handhold on the left wall.

The platform on the wall above will open up but close due to lack of time, don’t worry.Continuously jumpand use Rush of the Simurgh to reach the end of the slope on the right. Jump towards the previously closed platform and use Rush of the Simurgh. While directly above, quickly useShadow of the Simurghto create a copy of yourself. Hang onto the handhold again and make the embedded platform in the wall appear.

Teleport to where your copy is. This way, you’ll reach the platform. Jump to the left where the chest is located without the platform getting embedded in the wall again, using Rush of Sigurd.

Dimensional Claw power

Start from the Wak-Wak Tree to the left of the roomwhere you fought the Forest Queen. Move to the right, being careful not to fall into the hole below. After climbing the stairs, you’ll see the carpeted area whereFariba is located, and there will be an unreachable chest just to the right.

To access it, jump back down through the hole you passed over earlier and trap theexplosive sack among the purple vinesusing the Dimensional Claw. Return to Fariba’s area and climb up the green vines. On the right side of the area where the chest is located, there is awall that can be destroyed.

Sargon Aiming With His Dimensional Claw

After sliding through the narrow gap in the wall, throw the pouch you trapped with the Dimensional Claw onto the wall while holding onto thehandhold on the right side. This way, you can now jump to the area where the chest is located and collect the Memory Shard.

Holy Scholarship Key

After defeating the Jailer, you obtain the Holy Scholarship Key. With this, you may now return to the Prison. If you were previously caught by the Jailer, you’ll start from your cell; otherwise, head to the room with the skeleton in the bottom-left corner.

From your cell,proceed to the rightand descend from the wooden platform beneath the tower. Move to the left from here until you reach another wooden platform. Jump and continue leftward.

Memory Shard Location In Lower City Map

Show the Holy Scholarship Key at the door and pass through it. Proceed to the left, jump down, andyou’ll see a chest on the right side. When you open this chest, the Memory Shard will be yours.

Obtain “Celestial Guardians” main quest

Sargon Inside Jail Part Of Sacred Archives

To obtain this Memory Shard, you need to go to the room withthree chandeliers iconon your map. Start from the exact center of the room.

Move towards the top of thecentral giant chandelier. The enemies on top of the chandelier may bother you as you climb up, so it’s beneficial to eliminate them. Once you reach the top of the central chandelier, jump onto the chandelier onyour left side.

Here, there will be Harpy-like creatures; after defeating them, climb to the top of this chandelier. You will see a chest on your left side. Inside, you will find the Memory Shard.
