Fast Travel Limitations

There aren’t too many fast travel limitations. You can have any item in your inventory;there are not certain items that can’t be teleported.If you are familiar with games likeValheim, then you know that sometimes,items like ore cannot be teleported; thankfully, this is not the case in Enshrouded.

You willnot be able to fast travel if you are in the Shroud.The map can still be pulled up, but you cannot choose the fast travel option for any location. Once you get out of the Shroud, you are free to fast travel wherever you want.

Where To Fast Travel

Fast travel can be done from anywhere outside of the Shroud; there isno specific building or structure that you need to interact with.

Your destination will need to beeither an Ancient Spire or a Flame Altar that you have set up.

Ancient Spire Fast Travel

Shortly after starting the game andrescuing the Blacksmith, you will have the opportunity to clear the Springlands Ancient Tower. Once you make it to the top,this tower will turn into a fast travel location.You can jump off the side and glide down to the ground, as well as take a portal to the bottom level.

There arefive Ancient Spires in Embervale, spread around the entire map.You will only be able to teleport to spires that have been cleared, so be sure to head out and explore!

Flame Altar Fast Travel

Flame Altars can be placed around the world, serving as fast travel locations. you’re able to only have a certain amount of Flame Altars active, but bystrengthening the flame of your main altar,you can increase this limit.

With five stone,you can craft a Flame Altar right from your inventory.

To remove a Flame Altar,simply extinguish the flame.The altar will remain where you put it, but it won’t work as a fast travel location. Fortunately, you’re able to visit it at any point and reignite the flame,allowing you touse it as a fast travel point again.

How To Fast Travel

The fast travel process is incredibly simple. Simply click on the spire or altar andselect ‘Fast Travel’.

If you want to visit the last Flame Altar you were at, open the map and press ‘R’. This willtake you back to the last altar you were at, which comes in handy when you need to get out of an area quickly.
