InEnshrouded, Feathers only produces a few things that aren’t that valuable for some. For others, getting Feathers is a matter of life and death since it is one of the main resources needed to craft their arrows if they are using a bow or running a ranger build. Without a constant supply of Feathers, they cannot craft their higher-tier arrows and cannot progress unless they reset their skill points to a different weapon or build.
Luckily for them, Feathers are extremely easy to get in large quantities, but it becomes tedious if you don’t have adequate player power to clear high-level monsters.
Where Do Feathers Drop?
Feathers drop from winged creatures like Drakes in the Kindlewastes or the Vukahs from Vukah Canyon (near the Nomad Highlands area). Vukahs drop two to four Feathers, while Drakes consistently drop four to six Feathers.
However, the differences in difficulty are quite steep; Vukahs are usually below level 20, while Drakes are upwards of 20 (even as high as 25).If you are choosing which place to farm, it depends on how fast you’re able to eliminate Vukahs and Drakes.
If you are using a melee weapon, you should go for Vukahs because Drakes' attack patterns are quite dangerous for melee users. Drakes force you to bait their attacks first before hitting them because they are agile, and they do a wide cleaving attack when they reach their target.
If you are ranged, you can consistently attack the Drake, and when it gets near, you can bait the attack and dodge roll backward. While the drake is still in the attacking animation, you can already start hitting it again with a ranged spell or weapon.
The Best Feather Farming Location
Since drakes drop the most Feathers, you should take advantage of the desert area in the Kindlewastes. These drakes roam thedesert biome, so they are easy to find. The only problem is that their spawns are so abundant that you might have problems fighting them if you suddenly pull two to three drakes at the same time.
The drakes roam the area constantly, so you can wait for the opportune moment to single them out one by one. If you don’t have the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire fast travel point, you can still farm Feathers from drakes as long as you have any spot near the desert biome (east of the map).
If you are farming Feathers and you are using a bow, you’re able to defeat these drakes by using some simple Wooden Arrows made out of Twigs. It makes no sense if you are using your best arrows (the ones you craft using Feathers) to farm for more Feathers. You can followa great ranger assassin buildthat doesn’t need the best arrows to do a ton of damage.

These arrows are from mid-tier to high-tier level arrows already.If you are using a Multishot build, you know how fast it is to lose some ammunition. There are no shortcuts to mass-producing arrows, so be wary of using your top-tier arrows, especially with Exploding Arrows.
